PART 16.......

Kalpi signed her first official document as memsaab ....her office was filled with bouquet from staffs...Mansi ..Renu and Anita circled round kalpi feeling happy .....and congratulated her.....though the girls knew kalpi was pregnant and had heard that kalpi's husband had another wife..they dared not open their mouth. ....they took pictures with kalpi and were all very happy Kalpi noticed a marigold bouquet and immediately reached for it..the card read.....To the memsaab of your company and the memsaab of my heart....."love and kisses Raghav.......the phone rang ....it was Raghav congratulating kalpi ...Give me a kiss kalpi....".......Raghav teased from the other end of the line.and before kalpi could reply Mrs Trivedi arrived with all the senior staffs. ....."I want all of you to give your full support and cooperation to Mrs Kalpana. ....the staff nodded and left kalpi in her office........kalpi worked and stretched herself and at five in the evening. ....her chauffeur walked beside her to the waiting car where the bodyguards waited..she was driven back to Gokul Nath Villa ...kalpi sat on the bed and closed her eyes.....and began to relax..and shortly the young nurse arrived and gave a light foot massage....Kalpi tried to stop her but the nurse insisted that it was her job.....a little later the nurse helped kalpi with her change of clothes. ..then came with a glass of warm milk and some tablets. ..checked on kalpi's babies they were growing healthy...The nurse Ruby then ordered kalpi to have a short nap .before dinner which was served in kalpi's room.......Kamla called up kalpi and spoke to her for a long time.....later kalpi hung up and settled back in her cosy soft bed.....there was no hard floor surface beneath her body...............Kalpi attended meetings with other builders and she was also present at the construction site of Gokul Nath's new Villa........kalpi was made to sit under a makeshift special sun shade and was also made to wear safety helmet.....and safety but comfortable boots.."Madam you can instruct the site supervisor through this device....."said the manager to Kalpi handing her a walkie talkie.....and a lap top connected. ...to a monitor at the construction site office. .......work was progressing as Italian marble was imported and skilled sculptors were hired to give the best polished work........kalpi was given light refreshments. ..while at the site.........for a few months kalpi was busy and almost eight months into her pregnancy. ...kalpi's legs swelled and the doctor advised kalpi to stay home and do light exercises for a safe and easy delivery..............................Kalpi had to go back to her office later that afternoon. ...but stopped at the wash room and had just stepped out..when she started falling forward and a pair of strong arms held her and she was saved from falling. ...Suresh ........Gokul Nath's bodyguard assigned to protect kalpi had just walked in to the buiding and had noticed a janitor standing close to Kalpana madam.....with a long mopstick...and he saw the mop stick move behind kalpi and the next minute kalpi staggered forward and if Suresh had not acted fast kalpi would have fallen face forward on her swollen belly......Kalpi was in a state of shock but Suresh pacified her saying it was a slight accident and everything was okay and there was no cause for alarm..."please take madam to the car shan .."instructed Suresh and quickly rushed behind the janitor. Who was walking fast towards the staircase exit...Hei..wait he shouted and ran after the now running figure.....Suresh reached out and grabbed the lock of hair of that person but the lock of hair came off in his hand...It was a wig......and the perpetrator escaped.......Suresh quickly rushed down the stairs but the person just seemed to have vanished into thin air....Suresh then hurried to the CCTV room which had recorded the whole thing. And when the security guards focused on a fifth camera it focussed on the face of a woman.....PAKKI KAPOOR........This shocking camera footage was made known to Raghav who rushed home at once .he was fuming mad with anger......Raghav took the compact disc recording of Pakki's evil deeds....and was about to leave for his lawyer's office " .Raghav ......."Pakki called softly......a smile on her face.......Raghav turned towards Pakki....a murderous look on his face.....probably Pakki didn't realise that she was caught by hidden cameras on all the corridor leading towards the fire stairway escape in Kalpi's Office Building. "I'm busy Pakki " Raghav replied coolly. ...his hands were shaking so badly ....he wanted strangle Pakki with his bare hands"how about going for dinner with me..." asked Pakki sweetly. ...."we will as soon as I finish this deal"replied Raghav. .....the deal he meant was The divorce papers. ......and after Raghav left .Pakki began to ransack the drawers hoping to find something on kalpi......but she found none...."Damn it kalpi I hate you and Raghav "how dare you.......Pakki sat watching the recording of kalpi's live press conference of her Partnership. .....and Pakki had noticed the maternity outfit kalpi was wearing and this made her go berserk. ......."I will kill you kalpi. ..I will kill you......" you shared a bed with my husband....."I will kill you.......Pakki had gone all the way to Pune and into Mathuri And Kalpana 's Office Building disguised as a janitor and had succeeded pushing kalpi...but kalpi was saved by some idiot.......She will not rest until she had put kalpi and her baby in the grave.....then Raghav will be hers..............while Raghav was in his lawyer's office preparing divorce papers. ..then he took out the disc and loaded on the player deck and they both watched Pakki spiking Raghav's milk......clear evidence and the next recording showed. ......the one Raghav missed .....his mum Gauri. ....picking up a folded piece of paper from the kitchen floor.....she smelled the paper. ......"oh my god" she exclamed and hurriedly rushed somewhere and it was Raghav's room...........as Raghav watched it he recalled that day when pakki had spikked the milk......which Raghav had switched and Gauri had rushed in and had eyed the empty glass.......Gauri wasn't evil.......Raghav decided to talk to his mother later but right now he need to make arrangements to throw Pakki out of his ,kalpi's and their babies life.......Later in the night Raghav had a visitor in his office. .....it was Suresh the bodyguard assigned to protect kalpi.........He showed the cctv video footage of Pakki Kapoor pushing kalpi with a mopstick and kalpi staggering forward. ...and would have fallen if Suresh had not acted fast and caught kalpi...."I have made copies sir just need your instructions. ....I will send it to the police............Replied Suresh but Raghav shook his head......" no not yet I need to submit this to court to finalise the divorce. .....we need to throw Pakki off this scent.......Raghav thanked Suresh and informed him to bring the disc to court. ....and Raghav left the office and two weeks later close to one year of their marriage farce Pakki received the legal divorce papers from Raghav's lawyer. And to be present in court for the divorce proceedings. ...................Pakki in a state of shock and madness crushed the papers and threw it and started her tantrums. ....Gauri rushed to see what was going on and was shocked to Pakki stabbing the bed in anger ...gauri slowly and quietly grabbed her handbag and rushed out and hailed an auto and left for the chawl...Kamla rushed out to meet Gauri.........Kamla" please tell kalpi to be careful. ."..Pakki is mad and she wants to kill kalpi......".......Gauri said in between sobs...."Gauri taai....I thought you were with Pakki and hated Kalpi..." asked kamla......."No kamla I was only protecting my son.....I had no other choice but pretend to side Pakki......Raghav loves only kalpi....I wanted revenge but not on Kalpi's life.....and how can I betray the family who took care of me all these years when I had mental depression. .Pakki is getting out of hand and dangerous. ....I had a narrow escape I ran for my life..this is the truth kamla believe me I swear on Ganpatti Bappa..." Kamla was relieved and took Gauri in and gave her hot sweetened tea to calm Gauri's aggitated senses
