Exams were finally over, and graduation was just around the corner. The weight of months of studying and preparation lifted off my shoulders, leaving me feeling lighter and more excited than ever. As I sat in the bustling café, surrounded by the chatter of other patrons and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, I couldn't help but bounce my legs in excitement.

I was so anxious but also excited. Every time the door chimed when it opened, I snapped my head around, looking expectantly. But each time, it was someone else, and my heart sank a little.

Eventually, I gave up trying to peek through the door and focused on sipping my coffee, trying to calm my nerves. I checked my phone for the time, realising that I was early, as usual. I let out a sigh and settled back in my chair, trying to relax.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps approaching, and my heart leaped in my chest. I looked up to see Hongjoong standing in front of me, a smile on his face. He took off his coat, swinging it around the back of the chair across from me, and sat down.

"Hey," he said, his voice warm and welcoming.

"Hey," I replied, unable to contain my smile. It felt good to see him again, especially after the stress of exams.

As I looked into Hongjoong's eyes, I felt a wave of boldness wash over me. "You know, I was starting to think you weren't going to show up," I teased, raising an eyebrow playfully.

Hongjoong chuckled, leaning back in his chair. "Oh, really? And what would you have done if I hadn't shown up?" he countered, a smirk playing on his lips.

I leaned in closer, lowering my voice. "I guess I would have had to enjoy my coffee alone," I said, my tone flirtatious.

He grinned, the air between us charged with playful energy. "Well, we can't have that, can we?" he replied, reaching across the table to lightly touch my hand.

The waitress arrived with a set of drinks, setting them down on the table. "I hope you don't mind, I ordered already," I said, gesturing to the drinks.

Hongjoong raised an eyebrow, a smile playing on his lips. "I don't mind at all. What did you get for me?" he asked, picking up his cup.

"I got you your usual," I replied, taking a sip of my own drink. "I hope that's okay."

Hongjoong took a sip of his drink, nodding in approval. "It's perfect, thank you," he said, his gaze lingering on mine. "So, what's next on the agenda now that exams are over?"

"Hmm, I remember a certain someone saying we could pick up where we left off," I teased, a playful grin spreading across my face.

Hongjoong chuckled, shaking his head. "You never give up, do you?"

I leaned in closer, my voice dropping to a whisper. "Not when it comes to you," I replied, a hint of mischief in my eyes. "But seriously, now that my exams are over, I thought we could celebrate. Maybe go out and do something fun?"

He raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "I like the sound of that. Any ideas?"

"Well," I said, leaning back in my chair, "I was thinking we could start with dinner, maybe catch a walk through the park, and then who knows? The night is young, and Seoul has a lot to offer."

"Is that why we're starting with coffee at 2 pm in the middle of winter?" Hongjoong replied, amusement dancing in his eyes.

I laughed, feeling a blush creeping up my cheeks. "Okay, maybe not the most adventurous start, but it's a start," I said, shrugging playfully. "Besides, the best ideas are often spontaneous, right?"
