The announcer started speaking, "That was another very lovely performance by The Betsy's. Coming up, we have a live performance from another band sparked in Brooklyn, The Smooth Groovers.

"Shoot, we gotta move!" Curtis whispered.

The others scrambled to get their instruments together, their faces flushed with a sense of nervousness. They had their doubts they'd pull off the night without their lead instrument, but they were all still determined to put on a big show. Eumi took a deep breath, calming himself and preparing to use his voice. He looked at the others and gave a reassuring nod to which they responded with the same.

Using his voice to harmonize with the melody, he instantly captivated the audience, singing about the God they serve being good to us all. The swing, the mood, the tempo, and the mellow sounds of the instruments that played, swayed the audience, making the urge undeniable to tap and snap along to the beat. The blends of different jazz elements gave a uniqueness to their music, a soul that couldn't be quenched.

During the part the trumpet solo would've been played, Eric took over, his saxophone's tune soared around the room, his notes painting vibrant hues against the canvas all around the festival's walls. There was an undeniable chemistry between the band members, each feeding off of each other's energy. The melodies they created were infectious, weaving their way into the hearts of the listeners.

Once the song ended, the crowd was filled with clapping and cheering. The team exchanged triumphant glances, they knew they killed the stage with that one. As they made their way offstage, the audience approached them, wanting to share their praise and get their albums signed, which they all consented to.

After the show, they gathered together at the bar for drinks to celebrate the rest of the night.

"Thanks guys, and thank God too. I didn't think we'd make it," Eumi said with a chuckle.

"God works in mysterious ways, I'm sure. Glad you finally came around," Jax said, patting him on the shoulder.

Curtis smiled brightly, "Yeah, this night was amazing!"

Eric smiled calmly, "It could've been a whole lot worse."

Eumi chuckled, "Thanks guys, I'm sorry for everything."

"Hey, don't sweat it, alright? We all have our mistakes," Danny said.

He nodded with a bigger smile, "Let's say one more drink for the night, eh? Last one's on me!"

They all agreed and had one more drink for the night. They laughed and reminisced about the highlights of the evening, basking in the afterglow, toasting in celebration of a job well done.
