"Ugh, Vanilla come on!" said a girl made of chocolate ice cream and cherry toppings.
"Come on, come on!" Kicks, her watermelon slice pet danced and cheered.
"Yawn, Chocolate, do I have to?" asked the other girl made of vanilla ice cream and blueberry toppings. Her cane sugar fox was sleeping and wrapped around her neck.
Chocolate groaned, "Yes! The Choco Bears are playing this Sunday and I wanna be ready for it! Grab the tennis racket, I want a practice match!"
Vanilla was so tired she could barely stand up straight, but she complied. She laboriously picked up the racket and sighed, "Alright, I'm open."
"Yay!" Kicks danced in a circle.
"Finally," Chocolate said as she served the tennis ball, hitting it Vanilla's way. Vanilla didn't respond fast enough and the ball chopped her arm clean off, splattering her ice cream skin on the floor. Even the fox looked surprised.
"Oh..." Vanilla said, staring at her severed arm.
Chocolate facepalmed herself, "Y'know for a sister, you certainly aren't being helpful. Strawberry left with Mom and Dad to get Boots looked at, so I can't ask her to do it. Can you just please wake up for once?"
Vanilla's arm grew back at the cost of one of her blueberry toppings. She yawned, "You know I have a sleeping disorder, r-right?" she asked, rubbing her eyes. Her fox yawned and stretched her paws too.
Chocolate sighed, "Yeah, I know. But at night you're always out playing with Sugar, so what gives?"
Sugar cocked her head a little, then nestled her head into Vanilla's neck.
"I sleep a lot during the day, you know that," Vanilla said lethargically.
Chocolate rolled her eyes, "Yeah, but can you just give up one of the 18 hours you sleep for?"
"I guess so. But, you woke me up early for this, why?" she asked.
"Early?! It's 2 in the afternoon!" Chocolate shouted.
"Still too early," she said, shaking her head.
