Reika's POV
Here we are. Summer camp. A place where a lot of kids get to hang out with each other. But... for me, well... I'm not really good with this kind of thing.

The truth is I'm a huge klutz at communicating with others. Why? Because my anxiety always creeps up on me, making me feel like people will see me as a joke.

While I was sitting under a tree, a girl who's the same age as me came up to me. She had maroon hair that was tied up in a ponytail and blue eyes. She was looking at me with curious eyes.

"Hey," she said. "Why are you sitting alone?" I looked up at her and answered. "I just... I don't wanna be a bother to anybody." She starts giving me a sympathetic look and reached her hand out to me.

"How about this? I help you introduce yourself to the others, and we'll all get to know each other better," she suggested. I took her hand, and stood up as I nodded.

"Great. I'm Maki Uihara, by the way. What about you?" She asked. I guess making a friend is easy after all. I started to give her my name.

"Reika. Reika Tsukino," I told her. She started giving me a bright smile.

"Cool. Nice to meet you, Reika," she said. "Now, let's go!" She then starts taking me to 7 other kids, with my hand in hers. Let's just hope this works out well...

Once we got closer to them, the maroon-haired girl named Maki started calling out to them.

"Hey, guys!" She shouted, catching their attention. Oh boy, here we go...

"There's someone I'd like you guys to meet." She then started to pat me on my shoulder with reassurance, telling me it'll be okay. I nervously gulped, and got in front of everyone.

"Um... Hi," I said. "I-I'm Reika Tsukino..." Once I was done introducing myself, they started to trade their greetings and even give their names as well. Tai, Matt, Sora, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, and T.K.

Wow... To think that everyone would accept me so quickly...

3rd Person POV
Suddenly, snow started to fall down from the sky. Some are mesmerized by this sudden development, while others are confused by why snow would fall in the middle of June, including

"Snow...? At this time of year? What the heck?" Maki mumbled.

"This is weird..." Reika thought out loud. "The forecast never said anything about snow falling down."

"Whatever the case, we better head inside so that we don't catch a cold," Maki said. Reika nods and rushes inside with her. Once they were in, they see Tai and Izzy.

"Guys. What's happening out there?" Maki asks. Tai then turns to look at her and Reika.

"That's what we're trying to find out," Tai told her as he was about to head out.

"It's weird... I can't seem to get this to work. It's probably because of the weather," Izzy groaned, struggling with his computer.

"Huh? You mean the internet's down?" Maki questioned. As soon as she hears this, Reika makes a suggestion.

"Let me try the phone and see," she said, walking to the telephone. As soon as she picked it up, there was no sound. Not even a beep. Reika was puzzled. She sighed and puts the phone down.

"So, any luck?" Maki asked. Reika sighed as she was about to give her the result.

"Not one bit of it, I'm afraid," she answered. Maki groaned in disappointment and confusion. Then, Tai came in, bursting into the cabin.
