The first task was quite interesting. They had to fight dragons . This honestly made Asphodel shudder , the drakon. Nightmare fuel. First Silena and then during their encounter with Medea and then landon , the dragon that bit Zoe. She honestly had enough of dragons for a lifetime.
Harry Potter had got the fourth dragon , The Hungarian Horntail and the dragon did not look happy at all. The boy who was in her year decided to use quidditch . Yeah that guy was an impulsive idiot. Anyways he got the egg , somehow. Now you may notice by her tone that Asphodel did not really like Harry Potter because he accused Draco of being a death-eater well not directly but he stayed silent when Ronald Weasley his best friend said it . Now she was a Daughter of Hades and her fatal flaw was holding a grudge just like her brother .
Anyways back to the present . The second task was boring . The champions had to dive into a lake but the viewers were just staring at a lake for like an hour so she left and decided to IM her brother but considering the time difference he would still be asleep . So she decided to call the one idiot who would up that early in the morning - Annabeth . well she wasn't an idiot but when it came to Percy Oh gods , she once dipped her fries into lemonade because he had walked into the room. Fun times .
" Annie ! " she exclaimed
the girl looked around the room and then her eyes fell on her ," Oh hey Ash " she said with a grin, " Aren't you supposed to be having classes . ASPHYXIATE ELOISE BLACK i swear if you are skipping classes like you did in camp I will-"
" I'm not skipping class Annabeth , the second task is today"
" Are you sure about that because if i catch wind about-"
" Yikes Annabeth , I'm not missing class !"
she looked at the girl suspiciously ," If you are lying to me , i will stab you with zero hesitation you hear me "
" Yes ma'am " Asphodel replied with a mock salute and Annabeth smiled.
The two talked for a while and Asphodel heard people coming she cut the call and shadow-travelled to her room.
Suddenly there was a knock . She slowly opened the door to reveal Professor Snape
" Yes Professor ?" she asked
" Since you are a new student Ms Black . Headmaster Dumbledore has allowed you to call a person of your choice outside of Hogwarts for the Yule Ball that will be held shortly . Please dress up well and don't do anything that will result in the slander of the noble house of Slytherin. Not that you will , but it is a warning"
" Yes professor Snape , good day"
" Yes good day Ms Black"
So now she had to call someone . But who .
Obviously Leo
So she IM'd the guy. He was sitting in Bunker 9 , covered in oil and grease .
" Leo " she softly said incase he was sleeping . He immediately turned his head and smiled.
" Death girl , hey" he said coming closer to the cloud
" Uh we kinda have a Yule Ball . So will you er accompany me . I mean its your call and all uh" She asked awkwardly
He stared at her and gave her a deadpan look
" Obviously " he said with a laugh and Asphodel recoiled for a second. " What happened ?" asked Leo , his smile vanishing
" You remind me of my professor he said the exact same thing to a Gryffindor with the exact deadpan look" she answered and he doubled down laughing.
" Lemme guess Batman ?"
" Yup"
" Anyways , Asphyxiate Eloise Black will you have the honour of having me accompany you to the ball ?" he said with a smile and Asphodel grinned and rolled her eyes .
" You're an idiot "
" yours and now answer the question "
"Fine yes"
" No your supposed to say - What an honour , The great Leo Valdez is coming with me to the ball"
" Shut up Valdez "
" Ouch love you too"
