"What are you doing?" Jeongin asked on the other end of the phone. We hadn't seen each other the whole week because he was busy, but to my surprise, he called me almost every day and texted me a lot throughout the day. "Walking home from Uni," I said as I crossed a street, "what about you?" "Just finished dance practice, and I'm free for the whole afternoon," he said. "Do you maybe want to hang out?" I stopped in my tracks, causing a car to honk at me, pulling me back to reality. I quickly crossed the road and stood on the sidewalk. "Yeah. Sure. Why not," I said as cool as possible, ignoring the fact that I had to finish an essay by the day after tomorrow. I would just have to work late the next day. "Nice! I'll pick you up in an hour, okay?" he asked excitedly. I never heard anyone be that excited to meet me. I blushed a little. "Okay," I said and went home as quickly as I could.

My doorbell rang exactly an hour after his call. I buzzed him in, and soon after, a smiling Jeongin stood in my doorway. I let him in. "So what do you want to do today?" I asked and smiled back at him. "You're so curious! Just let me surprise you," he laughed. "Speaking of surprises, I brought you something." "Again?" I smiled even brighter. How did I deserve that? He pulled out a bracelet out of his pocket. It was made out of small blue beads with a heart in the middle. I smiled as he put it around my wrist. "I made it myself," he said a little shy. "It's so pretty, thank you," I mumbled and pulled him into a hug, slinging my arms around his neck.

He quickly put his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. It meant a lot to me, even if it was just a small gesture. He grinned as I pulled away. "Come on, let's go," he said, and we went out. This time he wasn't here with a car, so we had to walk. "We have to walk a little bit, I hope that's fine with you," he said and looked at me. I smiled. "That's fine," I answered, just happy to be with him. I decided to just accept my fate because at this point, it was so normal to talk to him that I didn't want to stop it, even if that meant that I probably would get hurt again. We walked for about half an hour until we came to a place I already heard of.

It was new in the city, and I wanted to go there for a while now, but Nami was scared of heights, so I never got to go. We were standing in front of an Adventure Park. "This is so cool!" I said in awe. Jeongin started smiling. "Did you go here before?" he asked, and I shook my head. "No, but I wanted to since it opened!" I said excitedly. "How are you thinking of those things?" "I have my secrets," he laughed and went to the entrance. He paid for both of us, and after a short instruction, we were off on the first course.

Jeongin was way faster than me, but he waited patiently every time. Now I was standing in front of a rope where you had to slide down at least 9 feet. Jeongin went first and was already on the other side, but I was just too scared. I knew that practically nothing could happen because the safety ropes were holding me, but still... it was so far. "Come on!" Jeongin yelled from the other side. "I'm so scared!" I yelled back, slightly looking down. We were so far up. "Just jump, Suki! I'll catch you!" he said. I nodded and took a deep breath. I just needed to trust him; he'll catch me.

I closed my eyes and jumped, holding on to the harness that was holding me. I kept my eyes closed the entire time I was sliding until two strong arms slung around me and got me back on my feet. "Got you," he whispered. I slowly opened my eyes, just to look right in his face. I wanted to say something badly, but I was too mesmerized by his eyes. "T-Thank you," I stuttered. He was so close to me that I could feel his breath on my face. It smelled like peppermint. "Oi! Make room!" a little boy yelled from the other side. Jeongin laughed and took my hand as we went on.

After two hours, we finally did every single course and went back out again. "This was actually so nice! Thank you for taking me here," I said and smiled. "I also thought it was really nice," he smiled. "Are you hungry? Should we grab something to eat?" I looked up at him as we continued walking. "Yes, why not," I answered. "I just know the perfect place," he grinned.

He looked at me for a moment, his ears kind of red, then he took my hand and intertwined our fingers. It felt so natural to hold his hand, almost like my hand just belonged in his. "You seem to know a lot of places," I joked. "I did a little research," he smiled. "On places nearby?" I asked amused. "No, Silly, on places to take someone on a date," he laughed nervously. So it was a date. I smiled. "Well, wherever you looked those places up, it's working," I said, trying to hide how happy I was. But I couldn't help it; I just smiled the whole way.
