Two days is all it took for Walker to find out.

"Seriously, Cici? Valencia?" He looked at her in disbelief. For some reason, this pissed her off.

"She's not that bad! Just misunderstood. Also, I'm allowed to have other friends." She added the last part sternly. Giselle and Mason sat there quietly, watching it all go down.

"I'm not saying you aren't! It's just that- Valencia is not a good person!" He defended himself.

"I mean, he's right. Have you not heard about the things she has done?" Mason came to Walker's defence, him nodding along.

"But do you know her personally? What if they are all rumors?" Now it was Giselle's turn to defend Cici.

"You're talking as if you know her personally." Walker seethed. Cici did not want her friends to get in a fight because of her, so she decided to step in.

"Alright, Alright. If it's really that big of a deal, I'll stop talking to her as much. Is that fine?" She said as she raised her brow, questioning them.

Walker sighed as he said, "That's not what we want, Ci. Just- please be careful around her."

Cici didn't respond. She just stared at him. The bell rang, indicating that the break was over. Everyone scattered around, trying to get to their classes. The group separated to go to their respective classes without saying another word.

While she was walking down the hallway, Cici ran into Valencia.

"Cici, hey!" She called out, jogging to get closer to her.

Cici greeted her, waiting for her to explain as to why she stopped her.

"Hey- so my friend is throwing a party this weekend, and you have to come. It's going to be really fun!" Valencia said. On seeing Cici's hesitation, she continued.
