"yes, Fiend... let the Numbers take hold..."

Fiend pushed away the intrusive thoughts the Numbers were giving him as he, Scarlett, Yuma and Shark looked through the massive card collection he now owned

Shark: man, there's got to be at least.... one hundred thousand cards here..

Yuma: yeah, its insane! you could build the same deck 20 times over!

Fiend walked over to a box, labelled BEWD. confused, he opened the box...... which just so happened to be filled with stacks upon stacks upon stacks of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon

Fiend: ....well, uh... I know he liked Dragons but, uh....

Shark walked over and looked inside the box

Shark: woah... if I hadn't known you for 9 years, I'd think your last name was Kaiba

Fiend picks up one of the cards and looks it over

Fiend: jeez, no wonder why Blue-Eyes is still so rare despite the re-release they did a few years back... dad hoarded them all! I wouldn't be surprised if he had the original 3 lying around somewhere, or even if I am related to Seto Kaiba...

he puts the card back into the box and closes it

Fiend: as much as I'd love to put a Blue-Eyes into my deck though, 3000 attack just isn't enough these days..

Shark snickers

Shark: going against normal monsters, despite having three copies of Alexandrite in your deck

Fiend: hey, 2000 attack for no cost is worth it! just ask Aeroshark

Shark and Fiend continue to banter, as Yuma, Scarlett, and now Astral look on

Yuma: since when were they so buddy buddy?

Scarlett: for as long as I can remember. Shark's typically cynical and cold, but Fiend just.. brings a side out of him that I can't even begin to explain..

Yuma hums as Astral turns towards a briefcase. he felt a strange energy emitting from the case, one that was familiar, but he couldn't quite place where he felt it before. he approaches the case as Fiend pulls out a stack of white cards from one of the boxes

Fiend: holy hell- dad had Synchros!

Yuma: Synchro Monsters? weren't those banned for being too dangerous?

Shark: yeah.. they were recalled too

Fiend: ...well as long as they aren't used they're harmless, right?

Fiend plops the cards back into the box. Astral reaches his hand out to the case, only for a shockwave to knock the ghost-like entity back into the wall, causing him to yell in pain. Fiend and Yuma turned to him

Yuma: Astral!

Astral: I am fine... but that case, over there..

Astral points, and the four of them look at it, Shark and Scarlett doing so once Fiend and Yuma do

Fiend: hmm..

Fiend approached the case, and opened it without fuss. inside was a few cards placed perfectly inside. the top card caught Fiend's eye instantly, and he grabs it, and looks it over

Fiend: I didn't think they had made another one of these!

Shark approached

Shark: what is it?

Fiend shows Shark the card

Fiend: its a Dark Magician Girl, but.. I've never seen this artwork before...
