If August knew what would happen I don't think he would've threw this party.
— — —
"I DON'T CARE I LOVE IT" is booming from the speakers we had set up.

The party is in full swing with the teen youth of this small town present.

There are witches to fruits cladded costumes and everyone looks great.

Brock really tapped into Rory from 'My Babysitters A Vampire'. His hair is amazing along with Carol dressed as Erica and they looked to be getting along pretty well.

I couldn't go far without August by my side. He was a little hurt when he heard his character wasn't a vampire but it cheered him up when I said he was technically a psychic.

I saw Alissa come through the door and she actually looked happy, she even smiled at me. Turns out, she has a new girlfriend and I'm really happy for her.

Now everyone is dancing, drinking and body to body while the music is bumping its way throughout the house.

"BABE DO YOU THINK WE DID A GOOD JOB DECORATING?" August yells over the music.

"YEAH EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT, DO YOU WANT A DRINK?" I yell back. He nods and I make my way to the kitchen.

When I go the kitchen I see Landon and what looks like to be some of his friends. I went to pick up a bottle of vodka but felt a hand on top of mine.

I go to look up and see Landon smiling as he tries to play tug of war for the bottle.

"Oh gosh could you please stop trying to always start a competition with me" I say laughing but also tugging the bottle as hard as I can.

As we're laughing and having fun he ends up letting me have the bottle but only if I poured a shot in his mouth.

As I do, it feels as though I'm being watched. I look up to be met with Carol smirking and running away like she's about to go tell on me.

As I am swallowing the shot Landon poured me from the bottle I feel arms around my waist.

I see slight annoyance in Landon's eyes but full on anger in Carols eyes. But August is holding me so tight it's getting hard to breathe.

"Hey, I was getting our drinks but ran into Landon and his friends. You want a shot?" I ask while breaking from his grasp.

He looks at me with disbelief for a second and then goes to grab me again but with a looser grip and kissed my head.

I leaned into it while everyone seemed a bit less tense as alcohol coursed through our veins.

"DANCE BATTLE" some random drunkard says.

Everyone moves outside near the pool and makes a circle. As I approach the circle I am surprised to see Brock in the middle of it.

As I am basically crying from laughing so hard, I see Landon go in as well. At this point I'm bent over from laughing so hard.

"Oh no not again. Every time someone wants to battle rather it's just dance or anyone dancing around him he has to make it a competition" August says.

'We Found Love' by Rihanna starts playing.

Brock takes a shot and then continues to do all styles and tricks that I put my hand over my mouth from shock.

Landon then returns into break dancing really smoothly actually. Like in the movie 'Step Up'. Brock tried to copy it when it came to his turn but it wasn't his strong suit.

When Brock saw that he was loosing he started bringing everyone in the circle and started dancing together. Even Brock and Landon laughing and dancing together.

All of a sudden I hear a splash and see Brock and Landon in the pool. Then everyone followed along while 'We Found Love' is still playing.

Me and August jumped along, even Carol. Everyone outside is in the pool, splashing each other.

August looks me in the eyes and picks me up, he then goes into kiss me like his life depends on it.

"It's only you, you're it for me" he whispers loud enough for only me to hear.

"You're it for me too, only you" I say as I go into kiss him again.

While we're kissing we feel splashes all around with the sound of Brock fake gagging which led to August swimming after him.

"You know your friends are pretty cool" Landon says.

"Yeah I know" I say.

I look at everyone in the pool having fun and living in the moment.

But great moments don't last forever.
