i can be cool, but then i'll be cooler than you.
harry was in his car, driving happily home. the radio wasn't even switched on, but he felt soothingly calm. the windows were rolled down, and his hair was messed up but he didn't really care.
the thought of allison made him calm, it made him smile. she was the only person who could make him feel like this, even his parents couldn't make him feel this happy.
he sighed contently, before feeling like something was missing from his passenger seat. his bag was placed there, and he reached around to feel it.
he reached a red traffic light, and brought the car to a halt. he slowly reached over and raided his bag, finding his markers and felt pens, the daily newspaper in his bag as he wanted to bring them home to his recycle collections. that was when he discovered that his journal wasn't there.
'I must've left it back at the library,' he thought to himself and slowly drove to the u-turn section so he could quickly grab it back before coming home. he knew allison must still be locking up anyways, he could surprise her.
he smiled at the thought of allison being slightly shocked and playfully hitting his arm because he did so. he liked the idea of seeing her pout, or laugh or even smile. heck, she could be crying and she'd still look beautiful.
he hummed a random tune and drove to the library, knowing that allison still hasn't returned home since he didn't see her on her bicycle on the way back. then, he saw her from far away, hair wavy behind her back and sleeves rolled up.
she was goddamn beautiful.
harry parked slightly far away from where she parked her bicycle. he watched as she was maybe reading some kind of book, and was sitting on the bicycle. harry chuckled.
she just couldn't stay away from books, could she?
he got out of the car, carefully trying not to make a sound at all. he watched her back figure, slightly crouching so he couldn't really get a good look at what he was reading. her hair covered up her beautiful face, making it unseen by him too.
he slowly creeped up to her bicycle, and he stood behind her back. this geek just couldn't stop with her book galore, he thought. she didn't even realize anything. harry held back a snort and held her shoulders.
"surprise!" harry shouted, well not too loud but quite loud for anyone there to hear. thank god, it was only them at the parking lot.
allison quickly turned around, and her eyes were slightly widened. harry laughed at her expression, and found her feedback definitely amusing. he clutched his stomach, and allison just stood there. in shock too, most probably.
harry stood up again, his eyes slightly watering from laughing too much. he saw from the corner of his eye as allison quickly hid something behind her back. he didn't want to ask about it, he was too busy laughing anyways.
"you should've seen your face." harry stated, as he tried his best to regain his normal breathing again. harry watched as her face was slightly pale too, and she wasn't laughing at all. harry felt awkward, so he just stopped laughing.
"whatcha doing here?" harry noticed as allison squeaked and her voice was slightly shaking. he couldn't help but quirk an eyebrow at her, and cleared his throat. she looked awkward, and that made harry frown.
"i think i missed you too much," harry pouted and that made allison shakily laugh. harry just shrugged his shoulders, and kissed her forehead.
as harry approached her, allison automatically took a step back, maybe it was because she was nervous and a step close to freaking out. he couldn't know, he just couldn't.
