Jimin blinked again.

Kim Taehyung was someone he had assumed he would never meet again.

After all, he wouldn't want to deepen his acquaintance with someone who had set up a meeting with him, dropped an atomic bomb of life-destroying information, kissed him without consent, and then ran away like a goddamn coward.

Yes, Jimin sent a sorry hamper, but that wasn't enough! Nothing he could do would be enough to make amends.

He thought with a start... maybe Taehyung was here to serve him with some kind of fine?

The alpha, whose face was stupidly good looking, had the audacity to chuckle at the unadulterated shock that was painted across Jimin's face.

Now Jimin may have identified as 'asexual' and 'aromantic', but he was still very much human. His eyes widened as this real-life 'main character' smiled at him.

Fucking hell.

"What...?" Jimin asked eloquently, the rest of his question dissolving in his throat.

"...am I doing here?" Taehyung offered politely.

A dumb nod.

"Well", Taehyung shrugged, his voice deep. "You did run out on our meeting without setting up a new one"

...was that a pout?

Was Kim Taehyung pouting... at him?

Good lord.

"Uh... I um, didn't think you'd ever want to see me again? Speaking of which... I am so, so sorry about what I did. It was inexcusable."

Taehyung batted his apology away with a wave of a hand.

"I mean, I did follow you here. That was pretty shady of me." The alpha replied. He almost sounded pleased with himself.

Despite his mood, Jimin laughed, "Are you competing with me?"

Taehyung nodded.

"Well, in that case, what I did was absolutely worse. You'd have to stalk me twice to even come close to what I did."

Was he flirting? With Kim Taehyung? My god. What was going on here?

Kim Taehyung let out a long-suffering sigh and replied, "I guess I'll just have to. After all, there must be balance in a partnership."

Jimin's eyebrow went up in surprise.

"P-Partnership?"
