They all stood, four of them, Sollel up front, facing an army of rogues.

"This will be alright if you give us the grant will"

"You mean the same grant will with the ability to destroy the ghar you have in your possession and the same grant will with which you can terrorise humans?? I don't think so" Sollel says gripping her sword firmly.

Earlier that day, four of them woke up to cries and screams. Upon asking for the cause of the chaos, it was figured out that the rougues had attacked and were demanding for the grant will.

They all went into a frenzy but it was agreed that no matter what, the grant will won't be given to them or all they've worked for would be over.

So here they were, faced off against an army of rougues with just four warriors on their side, but their determination was at its peak and they weren't planning to back down anytime soon.

The leader of the large group of rogues walked towards sollel.

"Just give us the star"

"You're under a curse"

The leader, Zayne, scoffed.

Sollel continues.

"You're cursed. Cursed to remain this way due to malice and you need to be cured"

"What makes you think we want to be cured?? Now you think you're so smart and you've got all this figured out, but sorry to burst your bubble, this isn't real."

Silence..

"You came here in search of a star right?" Zayne continues.

Sollel looks taken aback. How does he know??

"Ye..s. How did you know??"

"Funny of you to think that it was the star alone that held us back"

"What's that supposed to mean??"

"This isn't just about feeding on humans. It's about getting revenge and destroying the very thing your mother stood for"

"How do you know about my mother??"

"More questions! Well let's say I was once a general that loved a princess that never got past her heartbreak enough to love me back, and ended up cursing me along side everyone"

Pubry gasped from beside Sollel

"Ranels father??!"

"Bingo! The elf gets it!"

Sollel, Ezekiel and Kai stare at him in shock as he paces around.

"She had to die because of Sollel and I had to come back every time as a cursed specie because I mated with a god and every time I think about it, I'm enraged. You know why?"

Sollel stares at him still in shock.

"Because you're still alive. I tried killing you when I found out you're on earth. But it seemed as though you were being protected by something stronger. I tried attacking you when you were out with your brother and you still escape"

"Why??" Sollel said, her voice breaking a little.

"You're still asking why?, because I hate humans. I hate the sun. I hate flames and I hate you!!" Zayne says striking Sollel with his sword without warning, barely missing her neck.

"Sollel!!" Kai said lunging forward and attacking Zayne. Then all hell broke loose. Clashing of swords, flying of arrows, and commotion everywhere.

Sollel stood admist it all, trying to soak everything she just heard in.

"Zuma! Get the soldiers" Ezekiel yelled and soon the battlefield extended as the former wraiths faught against the rogues.

"Sol. Are you okay??" Pubry asked leaning towards Sollel.

"I have to go. There's something I need to do" Pubry looked confused but Sollel just turned on her heels and ran towards the palace entrance.

Zayne who was fighting with Kai, spotted Sollel entering the palace and hissed. He then sent two rogues after her. Kai tried going after her but was held by Zaynes strong arm.

Sollel reached the entrance and saw Dorchas Ezekiels grandmother, leaning on the door frame.

"You need to go inside. It's not safe."

"Oh calm down dear. I can handle a few rogues."

"Oh" she said and stood there confused.

"You're wondering what's next huh??"

"How did you......"

"Seriously. I thought I've established the fact that I know everything."

"Right"

"What do you feel is right to do??"

"Fulfil the initial purpose of me coming here"

"Then what?"

"That's where I'm stuck. I don't know what else to do"

She smiled at her.

"The star is in an abandoned building in the east side of the palace. Find it. And then let it find you. You know what to do. You were born for this. To stabilize the world the gods ruined"

Sollel looked confused but before she had time to react, Dorchas snatched her sword from her hand and beheaded two rogues that were about to attack her.

"Whew. It's been a long time since I've done this" Dorchas said laughing while Sollel looked more perplexed than ever.

"Go already!!"

Sollel snapped out of it and took off towards the east side of the palace.
