"You awake, Doll?" Elvis asks.

You ignore him, annoyed because he knows when Lisa-Marie's bed time is. You pretend to be asleep, but he always knows when your faking it.

"Come on, Elsie. I know your pretending." Elvis says.

You sigh and open your eyes, you then sit up to look at Elvis.

"You know when Lisa-Marie's bed time is, E." You say, annoyed.

"I know, I'm sorry. Colonel just thought we should have a drink." Elvis says.

"A drink? And you drove home? You could've gotten seriously hurt!" You grown angrier.

"I'm sorry, Darl." Elvis says.

"How many drinks did you have?" You ask.

"Only 2." Elvis says.

"Oh my god." You say, putting your head in your hands.

He then puts his hand on your back, you stand up and his hand falls back onto the bed. He looks at you.

"Elvis, why-." You start but then you hear Lisa crying.

"I'll get her." Elvis says, standing up.

"No, you won't." You say, pushing him back down on the bed and walking out the room.

You walk into Lisa-Marie's room to see her crying.

"Hey, Hey. Shhh." You say, you pull her out of her crib.

You bounce her up and down, tickling her back. You then sit on the rocking chair and quietly sing to her. She slowly falls asleep, you put her back in her crib.

You then walk back into the bedroom to see Elvis waiting for you. You sigh and walk over to him.

"Elvis, you shouldn't of drove home after having a drink." You say, softly.

"I know, baby. I know. I'm sorry, I won't do it again." Elvis says.

"What did I tell you before you left?" You ask.

"To remember I have a family at home.." Elvis says.

"Yes, Lisa-Marie won't have a father if you die in a car crash." You say.

"I'm sorry, can we please forget about this?" Elvis asks.

"I'll forgive but I'm not going to forget." You say, you then get into bed.

Elvis then gets in bed next to you, and puts his arm around you. He pulls you into his chest, you lay your head on his bare chest.

"You know I love you, don't you." Elvis says.

"Yeah." You say.

"Good." Elvis says.

The two of you then fall asleep, cuddling. Luckily Lisa-Marie didn't wake up again during the night.
