You had heard that Elvis had a massive tantrum at his show. Shouting at Colonel, and apparently firing him.
You were honestly really worried about him, but you couldn't do anything about it. You were ready to leave.
"Hi, baby. We- Uh- we're going today.." You say, to Lisa-Marie, she can speak better now because she's a bit older.
"Where's daddy?" Lisa-Marie asks.
"I think you're going to say bye to him today, when you see him." You say.
"Bye? Where is daddy going?" Lisa- Marie asks.
"He's just going away for a little while, you're coming to live with your mama and your grandparents." You say.
"Okay, mommy." Lisa-Marie nods.
"Wow, look at your dress. Beautiful." You say, putting her dress on.
Lisa-Marie dances around and you smile, you watch her.

You walk up to the car where Elvis and Vernon sat, Vernon then gets out for a little minute. You open the door and put Lisa-Marie in the car to say goodbye.
"Daddy loves you, you know that right?" Elvis asks.
"Yes." Lisa-Marie nods.
"Bye daddy." Lisa-Marie says as you open the door.
"Bye, baby." Elvis says, his voice breaks.
Lisa-Marie walks over to the other car and waits there for you. Elvis waves at Lisa, then blows her a kiss. Vernon greets you, then you get in the car next to Elvis.
"Hi." You say.
"How are you doing?" You ask, you're voice barely above a whisper.
Elvis doesn't answer, he lets out a shaky breath. You then hesitate, but you put your hand on his, holding it.
"Honey, there's this place in Santiago that you can go to rest. To heal. After the show you can fly directly and be in a clinic, before anyone knows." You say.
"I'm gonna be 40 soon, El. 40.. And nobody is going to remember me. I never did anything lasting..." Elvis says, as he looks out the window.
"What about a star is born?" You ask.
"Barbara and the Colonel.." Elvis says with a laugh, you also let out a laugh.
"Please go... For Lisa, For me." You say.
"I can make an agreement.." You say.
"Like what?" Elvis asks.
"If you get better, I'll come back in a year and we can try again..." You say.
"Okay, baby." Elvis says.
"Promise me." You say, but Elvis doesn't reply.
The car door opens for you. Then you get out, Elvis doesn't let go of your hand for a second. Then he does. You have tears in your eyes as you walk back over to Lisa-Marie.
"Wave bye." You say.
"Bye!" Lisa-Marie waves with a smile.
Elvis waves back and then you get in the car with Lisa-Marie.
