Some time later, the group climbs up a hill to the boarded-up lodge.
Rebecca:Well?
Otis:What are we waiting for?
Carlos:We have to be careful.
Rebecca:Careful?
Rebecca:We've been on the road for five days.
Rebecca:My back is done bein' careful.
Alvin:Doesn't look like anybody's home.
Shawn:Damn.
Alvin:Nailed down tight.
Alvin:I'll check 'round front.
Carlos:I'll go with you.
Clem,Otis,and Shawn lean on the railing and are approached by Luke.
Luke:Well, it'd be good to know if anybody's actually back there.
Luke:Could probably get a better view from up top.
Clem:I had a treehouse once.
Luke:Well, there you go.
Clem: I hated it.
Luke: Oh.
Otis: That's crazy.
Clem approaches the ski lift.
Shawn: Just take it slow, and I'll catch you if you fall.
Clem starts to climb the ladder.
Luke:Got a good grip?
Clem:Yeah.
Luke:When I was a kid, we used to jump rooftops downtown.
Luke:Now that was fun.
Clem and Otis: That sounds stupid.
Luke:Yeah, yeah, it was.
Luke:The trick was not to look down, though.
Clem loses her footing.
Clem: Ahh!
Shawn: You okay?!
Luke:Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Luke:You're fine, you're fine.
Luke:Just look at me, okay?
Otis:You're fine.
Shawn:Alright, just slow down.
Shawn:Just for a second, okay?
Luke:Got your grip?
Clem:You look like an idiot.
Luke:Just climb the thing.
Clem continues climbing and reaches the top of the lift.
Clem: Made it!
Otis: See anything?
Clem looks through her binoculars. She looks at the bridge.
Clem: I can see the bridge!
She looks at the trees.
Clem: It's really dark.
Clem looks at a light in the distance.
Clem:Wait, I see something!
Luke:What is it?
Clem: A light.
Clem:But wait, there's another.
Clem: Luke?
Otis: Come down, clem!
Shawn: Something's happening.
Luke runs up to the others, who are involved in a standoff with another group. Clem climbs down the ski lift.
Clem,Otis,and Shawn join the confrontation.
Luke:Listen, everyone, just stay calm.
???:Who are you?
???:Are you trying to rob us?
Rebecca:Excuse me, honey, but do I look like a fucking thief?
???:Everyone calm down.
Alvin:Hey, man, you calm the fuck down.
Carlos: Sarah, get behind me.
???:Just tell us who you are.
Alvin:We ain't here to rob nobody.
Alvin:Put the gun down, man.
???:Fuck that!
Luke:Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
???:Please, just do what he says.
Clem,Otis,and Shawn step in front of the others and discover that Kenny,Lee,Ben,and Doug are members of the opposing group.
Clem: Kenny?
Otis: Lee?
Shawn: Doug?
Clem: Ben?
Luke:Wait, you know these people?
Kenny: Clementine?
Clem,Otis,Shawn,Doug,Lee,Ben,and Kenny do a group hug.
Clem: We thought you were dead. Kenny wipes away a tear.
Kenny puts his hand on Clem's shoulder.
???:I'll take that as a yes.
Lee:These people with you?
Clem nods.
Doug:We can talk inside.
???:Great.
???:I just started dinner.
Carlos:Are you sure you don't mind?
Ben:It's gonna storm soon.
???:Please, come in.
The group starts to walk to the front of the lodge. Clem,Otis,Shawn,a guy,Kenny,Lee,Ben,and Doug enter.
???: Kenny and sarita have been staying with us for several weeks.
???: Lee,doug,and ben have been here for 2 days.
???:Used to be a ski lodge, obviously, so we have plenty of food.
???:And believe it or not, we still get some power from that wind turbine out front.
???:We tend to keep most of the lights off at night to avoid drawing attention.
???:But after we found this stuff in storage, we couldn't resist making an exception.
Kenny mimes to Clem that his friend is talking too much, and she quietly laughs.
???:What's so funny?
Otis:You're face.
Kenny:Oh, nothin', walt.
Kenny: Walter here is one smart son of a bitch.
Kenny pats Walter's back.
Kenny:Makes a mean can of beans, too.
Walter:Well, why don't you seven catch up while I get some dinner started?
Nick, Luke, Rebecca, and Alvin enter the lodge.
Walter:Please, make yourselves at home.
Walter:You can leave your things over there.
Rebecca:The hell we will.
Nick:Yeah, I'm holdin' onto my rifle, thanks.
Walter:You're our guests here.
Walter:There's no need to worry.
Nick:Tell him to put his gun down, then.
Walter: Kenny?
Kenny:Will you vouch for these people, clem,otis,and shawn?
Kenny:If you guys tell me they're good, then I'm good.
Nick: Us?
Nick:You were the one wavin' a gun around, man.
Luke:We're cool, okay?
Luke:Hey, hey, we're cool, we're cool.
Clem:They're cool.
Otis:For the most part.
Shawn:They may be stupid, but they're good people.
Sarita, Sarah, and Carlos enter the lodge.
Sarah: Dad, look!
Sarah:A christmas tree!
Carlos:Not now, sarah.
Sarita:Isn't it great?
Sarita:We found it all in storage.
Sarah:It's amazing.
Kenny and Sarita exchange glances. Kenny set his weapon down in the foyer, and the cabin group follows suit. Clem also puts her backpack down. Otis and Shawn put their weapons down, too.
Sarita: Good.
Sarita:If you'll all follow me, I'll show you where you can sleep.
Clem,Kenny,Lee,Ben,Doug,Shawn,and Otis sit on the couch near the fireplace as Sarita leads the rest of the group upstairs.
Kenny:Still wearin' this dirty old thing, huh?
Kenny taps on Clem's hat.
Kenny:You know, I half-expected to see lee walk up next to you guys.
Shawn: So where's christa and omid?
Lee: We lost sight of christa.
Otis: What does that mean?
Ben: We don't know where she is.
Clem: What about omid?
Doug: Omid is dead.
Shawn: How'd it happen?
Lee: He was shot in the head.
Kenny: Sounds like you guys had it rough out there.
Clem:Where have you been?
Kenny:Oh, hell, all over, after savannah.
Clem:How did you get out of there?
Kenny: Christa got in a hell of a mess. Kenny:I gave her a hand, and then it got messier.
Kenny:For a minute there, it wasn't lookin' too good for old kenny.
Kenny:Long story short, I got lucky. Kenny:Real lucky.
Kenny:Spent a long time alone after that.
Kenny:It, uh.
Kenny:And then I met sarita, thank god.
Kenny:Gosh, it's great to have you guys back.
Sarita:You seven catching up?
Kenny: Clem,otis,and shawn, this is my girl, sarita.
Kenny:Ain't she beautiful?
Sarita:Nice to meet you, guys.
Kenny:Hey, walt, where's matthew? Kenny:He still out there rootin' around?
Walter:Of course he is.
Walter:Well, I'll start dinner.
Walter heads to the kitchen, and the rest of the group enters the living room.
Sarita: Carlos, right?
Sarita:Mind if I steal your daughter for a secret mission?
Carlos:Stay in sight, sweetie.
Luke:Can we do anything to help?
Kenny:Could use a hand outside.
Kenny:We got a lotta supplies we need to bring in before that storm hits.
Luke: Sure.
Kenny: Clem and otis, why don't you guys help walt with dinner?
Clem and Otis enter the cafeteria, where Walter is cooking dinner in a pot on the stove.
Walter:Hey, clementine and otis. Walter:Settling in well enough?
Clem:Yeah, thanks.
Otis: Sure.
Walter: Excellent.
Walter:Want to help me prepare a little dinner?
Walter:So how do you guys know, kenny?
Walter: He and sarita have been a huge help.
Walter: Lee,ben,and doug too.
Walter: Matthew and I barely knew what to do around here the first week. Walter: But kenny, well, he never slows down.
Clem:We're old friends.
Otis:We met him after it happened.
Walter:When he was with you guys? Walter:Yeah, he only told us a little.
Walter:Connecting with people is so important.
Walter:I don't know what I'd do without matthew.
Walter adds salt to the food.
Walter:Gosh, you remind me of my students.
Walter:I can't imagine what it's like growing up in the middle of all this.
Clem:Everyone underestimates us.
Walter:I expect you've used that to your advantage.
Clem:Sometimes.
Walter:Smart kids.
Walter tastes dinner.
Walter: Hmm.
Walter:Almost done.
Walter:Would you do me the honor of tasting the first course, madam?
Otis: What is this?
Walter: Le walter surprise.
Walter:An autumnal legume salad with a peach roux.
Walter:It's peaches and beans.
Walter:It's all we've got.
Clem:Looks great.
Walter:It looks like mush.
Clem:No, it doesn't.
Walter:As an artist, there's nothing I like less than a friendly critic.
Otis: Could've said something worse.
Walter: Could've.
Walter: Huh.
Walter:Striking resemblance.
Walter shows the can of peaches to Clem and Otis.
Otis: It kinda does look like you, clem.
Walter:Anyway, I'll take it from here.
Walter picks up the pot and walks away.
Clem walks up to Otis.
Clem: Hey.
Otis: Hey.
Clem:I still can't believe omid is dead.
Otis:Me neither but we have to look on the bright side.
Clem: And what's that?
Otis:That christa still might be alive out there.
Otis: And lee,ben,and doug made it out.
Clem:You're right.
Clem:Can you believe kenny is still alive?
Otis:I thought he died in savannah.
Otis:We all did.
Otis:So yes it was a shock.
Clem walks away from Otis and walks up to Shawn.
Clem: Hey.
Shawn: Hey.
Clem:Can you believe kenny is still alive?
Shawn:I mean I had some hope that he was still alive.
Clem: Why?
Shawn:I mean we didn't see him die.
Clem:How do you feel about omid's death?
Shawn:I wish he could've survived longer to see this.
Clem: Yeah.
Clem walks away from Shawn and walks up to Lee.
Clem: Hey.
Lee: Hey, sweet pea.
Clem: I missed you.
Lee: I missed you too, sweet pea.
Clem:I got bit by a dog.
Lee:You okay?
Clem:Yeah, shawn healed me.
Lee: I'll make sure to thank him.
Lee: Otis too.
Clem:What do you think of this place?
Lee:It's safe for now but sooner or later this place will go down too.
Clem:I agree.
Clem walks away from Lee and walks up to Doug.
Clem: Hey.
Doug: Heya.
Clem: How are you feeling?
Doug: I'm a mixed bag.
Doug: You?
Clem: I'm fine.
Doug: That's good.
Clem:What do you think of this place?
Doug:It's not bad but I think a lot of people will find this place.
Doug:And kill us.
Clem:We need to make sure that doesn't happen.
Doug: Exactly.
Clem walks away from Doug and walks up to Ben.
Clem: Hey.
Ben: Hey.
Clem: How are you feeling?
Ben: No, how are you feeling?
Clem: I'm good.
Clem: You?
Ben: I'm alive.
Clem: That's good.
Clem:What do you think of this place?
Ben:I think this place is safe.
Ben: As long I stick to my self.
Clem: What do you mean?
Ben: I don't wanna screw things up again.
Ben:Like I did at the motel.
Clem decides.
Clem:I trust you.
Ben: Thanks clem.
Clem walks away from Ben and walks up to Sarah and Sarita.
Sarah:What's the song you're humming?
Sarita: "Good king wenceslas".
Sarita:It's my favorite christmas song.
Sarita: Clem, we could use some help. Sarita:Here, sarah, you take this and string them up over there.
Sarita:You knew kenny before.
Sarita:It must be incredible to see him again.
Sarita:When I met him, well, he's so different now.
Sarita:But you must be so glad.
Clem:So, how'd you meet kenny?
Sarita:I found him holed up in an old restaurant, if you can believe it.
Clem: Holed up?
Sarita:You should have seen his beard then.
Sarita: Perfect.
Sarita:Now we just need the topper.
Sarah:We always had an angel on top of our tree.
Sarita:My family didn't celebrate christmas, but I still love the decorations.
Clem goes upstairs, where Alvin, Rebecca, and Carlos are talking.
Rebecca:It's crazy.
Rebecca:Why would they follow us this far?
Carlos:We can't be sure.
Alvin:It's been a week, man.
Alvin:We gotta be outta the woods.
Carlos:We can't be sure.
Carlos:They might be tracking.
Alvin: Tracking?
Alvin:Who do you think they are, ninjas?
Rebecca: Clem, luke said, you saw some people in the valley?
Clem:I saw lights.
Rebecca:Which way did they go?
Clem:Back into the woods.
Carlos:We cannot take any chances. Carlos:We leave at dawn.
Rebecca:But we're safe here for tonight, right?
Carlos: Clem, you talked to that man walter, right?
Carlos:What did he say?
Carlos:You didn't tell him anything about us, did you?
Carlos:We have to be careful.
Carlos:They could be hiding something.
Clem:We mostly talked about kenny.
Carlos: Kenny is the loud man with the beard?
Clem: Yeah, that's him.
Alvin:Look, I don't care what that man said, we're stayin' here tonight.
Carlos:Just talk to the rest of them. Carlos: They trust you.
Carlos:See what you can find out.
Carlos:I'm gonna go find Luke.
Carlos walks away.
Rebecca:Honey, I don't feel so good.
Alvin: Bec, what's wrong?
Rebecca:I just need somethin' to drink.
Alvin: You got it.
Alvin:I'll be right back.
Alvin walks away.
Clem walks up to Rebecca.
Clem:Are you okay?
Rebecca:Just got a little dizzy.
Rebecca:I can't even take care of myself.
Rebecca:How am I supposed to raise a child?
Rebecca:I mean, how can anyone now?
Rebecca:Everything's so fucked up.
Rebecca:That makes two of us.
Clem:I think it's possible.
Rebecca:How do you know?
Clem:Well, I'm still here.
Rebecca:I know it's gonna be hard. Rebecca:But at the same time, I already feel a little less lonely. Rebecca:Because I know that no matter what happens, I'll get to meet someone new.
Rebecca: She's kicking.

Clem touches Rebecca's stomach.
Rebecca:She's gonna be a runner.
Rebecca: It's not his.
Clem:Whose is it then?
Rebecca:I don't know what to do.
Rebecca:I can't believe I'm asking a little girl for advice.
Rebecca:But I guess nothing's weird anymore.
Clem:He won't kill you.
Rebecca:There's my man.
Alvin holds a water bottle.
Alvin:You alright, baby?
Rebecca:I'm fine, you big dope.
Alvin:Just need to get some food in you.
Alvin:Thanks for stayin' with her, clem.
Alvin:Can you go ask that walter guy when we're gonna eat?
Clem walks away from Rebecca and Alvin, Clem walks up and examines a box.
Clem takes out an angel and puts the angel on top of the tree.
Sarah: She looks so cool!
Clem goes downstairs, where Sarita and Sarah are talking.
Sarita: Beautiful.
Sarita:I used to love this time of year. Sarita:You know, now that your friends are here, this place is starting to feel like a real home.
Sarita: Matthew and walter are amazing people.
Sarita:Honestly, it's dangerous to be this kind.
Sarita:But they can't help it.
Sarita:Wait until you meet matthew. Sarita:He's a real character.
Sarita:The first time he met me, he called me rita.
Sarita:So I call him matty now.
Sarita:It's kind of our little war.
Clem:Where is matthew?
Sarita:Oh, he likes to go on long walks. Sarita:He and walter used to vacation here.
Sarita:He should be back soon.
Sarita: Clem, I wanted to ask you. Sarita:Does kenny seem different to you?
Sarita:I didn't know him before, and, well, I'm curious.
Clem:He seems like the same old kenny to me.
Sarita: Oh.
Sarita:Well, that's good.
Sarita:Forget I said anything.
Kenny:Well, you three've been busy.
Sarita: Kenny!
Sarita:Isn't it great?
Sarita picks up a cardboard box.
Kenny:I got it, hon.
Sarita:I think I can manage, ken.
Kenny takes the box from Sarita.
Kenny:I said I got it!
Kenny walks away.
Sarita:Always has to play the gentleman.
Sarita:But I'll tell you, when I met him, he couldn't lift a fly.
Sarita:Why don't you go see if your friends are ready for dinner, clementine?
Walter:Well, everyone, dinner is served.
Walter:C'mon, let's eat!
The cabin group sits at one table, and the ski lodge group sits at the other one.
Luke:You okay, man?
Nick: Yeah.
Nick:I'm just, I wish I hadn't pulled that trigger.
Luke:Just try to forget about it.
Luke waves at Clem and so does Lee.
Lee: Right here, sweet pea!
Luke looks sad.
Walter gives a bowl of food to Clem.
Walter:Here you go, clem.
Kenny:So, clem, we were just talkin'. Doug:What's the deal with the kid? Ben:What's his name, luke?
Kenny:He in charge?
Lee:You trust him?
Sarita: Everyone, please.
Kenny: Sarita, we don't know these folks.
Sarita:They seem nice.
Kenny:Yeah, well, gators seem nice too, 'til they bite your damn arm off.
Sarita: Kenny!
Clem: I don't know yet. I haven't been with them long.
Kenny:Takes a while before you know a man for real.
Sarita: That's true.
Sarita:I'm still learning about kenny.
Kenny:Not the snoring again.
Sarita:It's like sawing logs.
Sarita:Redwoods.
Shawn:Redwoods?
Kenny: That guy, big al?
Kenny:He said they were on the run.
Otis:Some people are after them.
Kenny: Well, you guys don't have to worry about that no more.
Kenny:They'll go tomorrow and you can stay here.
Sarita: Absolutely.
Sarita: You guys, can stay with us as long as you want.
Kenny:They're stayin' for good.
Sarita:If that's what they want.
Kenny:Of course they do.
Kenny: Right, guys?
Shawn: Obviously, we want to stay, but.
Lee: But, what?
Otis: Clem saw lights coming this way.
Otis: And if it's carver, we don't wanna be here.
Doug:We can handle him and his people.
Ben:Even if he does show up, we won't give this place up.
Lee:Or we can just leave this place.
Kenny: I was thinking about that.
Otis: He's right.
Shawn: This place will be found by walkers or people or both.
Shawn: And this place will fall, and if we don't leave, we might die.
Sarita and Walter get up, and Luke and Nick sit down at their table.
Kenny: Hey, there.
Luke: Hey.
Kenny:Hope you like the food.
Luke: Oh, it's great.
Luke:Thank you.
Kenny:Peaches and beans.
Kenny:Great for nutrition.
Kenny:Not too great on the way out, though, I tell ya.
Kenny:So it's luke and nick.
Kenny: Luke and nick.
Kenny:You guys sure do look like a match.
Nick:What's that supposed to mean?
Kenny:I'm just sayin', you look like good friends, that's all.
Luke:So what was your plan here? Luke:Hold out for the winter?
Kenny:Actually, we were thinkin' of movin' on.
Kenny:Somewhere up north.
Kenny: You ever heard of a place called wellington?
Luke: Wellington?
Luke:The hell is that?
Kenny: A place.
Luke:What kind of place?
Kenny:A good one, einstein.
Clem: Yeah.
Clem: Christa,omid,me,lee,shawn, otis,ben,and doug were going there.
Kenny:Supposed to be a big camp up near michigan.
Nick: Michigan?
Kenny:You got a hearing problem, kid?
Kenny:Yeah, michigan.
Kenny:Think about it.
Kenny:Fresh water, lots of land, and cold-ass winters, so the walkers get slow.
Nick:Sounds like bullshit.
Doug: You serious man?
Kenny:Listen, vanilla Ice, I don't know what your deal is, but you're more than welcome to take off in the morning.
Nick:Well, that'd be just fine by me.
Ben: Don't be stupid.
Nick: I'm not being stupid, I'm being smart.
Kenny:What's the deal with these guys, clem,otis,and shawn?

Luke:It's fine, nick.
Luke:We're not stayin'.
Kenny:They're stayin'.
Luke: Wh?
Luke: Scuse me?
Kenny: You heard me.
Clem:Please, don't fight.
Otis: It's gonna be okay, clem.
Walter:Everyone, please.
Walter:There's no need for this.
Walter:Now, look, we've all had a long day.
Walter: Please, eat.

Kenny gasps.
Luke: Duck?
Luke: Who's duck?
Clem: Duck was his son.
Luke looks shocked and sad.
Walter: Hey, clementine and otis. Walter:Would you, uh, lend me a hand outside for a moment?
Clem and Otis get up and go outside with Walter.
Walter:I'm sorry about that.
Walter:I used to be a teacher.
Walter:And I remember what it's like to be caught in the middle of two cliques.
Otis: And it's still like that.
Clem:Everything will not be fine.
Clem:Do you really think everyone can just get along?
Walter:They say the world is over, but I'll tell you a secret: it's not.
Walter:People are more political now than they ever were before.
Clem:It's never that easy.
Walter: What's the matter, clementine? Is there something you want to tell me?
Walter:You can talk to me, clem.
Clem:I'm just worried about the people chasing us.
Walter:You're safe now.
Walter:Don't worry.
Walter: Matthew will be back soon, and everything will be fine.
Otis: How can you be so sure?
Walter:Because I am.
Kenny: Hey, kids.
Kenny:What are you three talkin' about?
Walter:Oh, politics.
Kenny:The hell?
Walter:Being from florida, I would imagine you know all about politics, kenny.
Kenny:Man, I know one advantage of living in the apocalypse is not dealin' with that shit no more.
Kenny:I was just gonna check the windows 'round back before this storm hits.
Kenny:Give us a hand?
Walter: Sure.
The group turns the corner and finds a woman looking into their windows. Kenny takes a step forward, but Walter puts his hand on his shoulder to stop him.
Walter: Miss?
The woman is surprised to see them and puts her hands up after noticing that Kenny is carrying a rifle.
???: Please.
???:Do you have any food?
Walter:Are you okay?
???:I saw the house, and I have a family.
???: We're starving.
???:We live down there.
Walter: Of course.
Walter:Why don't you come in, miss?
???: Bonnie.
Kenny: Walt, I don't know.
Kenny:You're just gonna let her in like that?
Walter: It's fine, kenny.
Kenny:We don't know this girl.
Walter:Then we'll have to get to know her, right, guys?
Kenny: Walt.
Otis: Hell no.
Clem:Check her for weapons.
Kenny: Yeah.
Bonnie:Thank you, really, but that storm'll be on us soon, and I gotta get back to my family.
Walter:I'll bring something out to you then.
Bonnie:You don't have to do that.
Walter:No, no, it's fine.
Bonnie:What about your people?
Walter:We've got plenty.
Walter:You stay put.
Walter:I'll be right back.
Walter walks away.
Bonnie:I have a little girl like you. Bonnie:How old are you, sweetie?
Clem:None of your business.
Bonnie:I'm sorry.
Bonnie:I didn't mean nothin' by it, hon.
Otis: Sure you didn't.
Walter returns and hands Bonnie a cardboard box.
Walter:Here you are, miss.
Bonnie:This is too much.
Walter:Don't mention it.
Bonnie:I don't know how to thank you.
Walter:Just help someone else down the line.
Bonnie:Thank you so much.
Bonnie:I'll be goin' now.
Walter:You stay safe.
Bonnie: You too.
Bonnie walks away.
Kenny: Clem and otis, go on inside and get to bed.
Kenny: Walt and I gotta talk for a second.
Clem and Otis goes inside.
Luke is hiding behind a column near the cafeteria.
Luke: Clementine and otis.
Luke:Don't freak out.
Luke motions for Clem and Otis to go over to him, and they do so.
Luke:Listen, okay.
Luke:I gotta tell you somethin'.
Luke:That guy on the bridge was walter's friend.
Luke hands Clem a framed photo of Walter and Matthew.
Luke:See, I knew something was off, so I asked sarita about their friend. Luke:Now they're all worried he's not back yet.
Otis: Nick is so dead.
Clem:I know he was.
Clem:For sure.
Otis:Yeah, me too.
Luke: Damn it.
Luke:Damn it, nick.
Luke:I don't think walter knows yet.
Otis:If he did, nick would be dead.
Clem:What if he finds out anyway?
Luke:Well, then, we're fucked.
Luke:But, y'know, we'll just deal with it then.
Luke:Now, do you still have that knife?
Luke:Because if it was matthew's, and walter sees it, he's gonna put two and two together.
Clem:It's with the other weapons.
Luke:Okay, well, go get rid of it.
Luke:And I'll find walter and run interference.
Luke:Oh, and, uh, keep an eye out for nick.
Nick:I'm right here.
Nick:What's up?
Luke:Oh, uh, it's nothing, man.
Luke:I just wanted to check and see if you're okay.

Clem:We have to tell you something.

Clem hands the photo to Nick.

Otis:Do not fucking blow it.
Nick: Blow it?
Nick: It's over.
Nick:I have to tell him, luke.

Luke: No!
Luke:You, hey, nick, you cannot do that.
Luke:Are you fuckin' nuts?
Nick: I got to.
Nick:I can't live with that on me.
Luke:Okay, I hear you, but I mean, fuck, man, do you know what he's gonna do?
Nick:You don't know he'll do anything.

Luke: Nick, you shot his friend!
Clem: You should tell him.
Nick: Yeah, yeah.
Luke: Nick, I am warning you, this is fucking suicide.
Nick:I'll live with it.

Otis: Sooner, the better.
Luke,Nick,and Otis leave.
Clem searches her backpack and discovers the knife is missing.
Clem: It's gone.
Clem sees Walter outside, and she approaches him.
Walter is holding Matthew's knife and smoking.
Clem: Walter, put the knife down.
Walter:I always liked this knife. Walter unsheathes the knife.
Walter:Gave it to matthew when all this started.
Walter:I know he's dead.
Walter:Who did it?
Walter:Was it that kid?
Walter:What's his name?
Walter: Nick?
Walter:Heard him talkin' earlier. Walter:Somethin' about shooting a man.
Clem: It was us.
Clem:It was our fault.
Walter: Jesus.
Walter:I don't feel good.
Clem: Nick shot him.
Walter:Is nick a good man?
Walter:Or is he just like everyone else?
Walter:Is he just one of those fuckers that don't give a shit about anyone but themselves?
Clem: He is.
Clem:He's a good guy, walter.
Nick goes outside.
Walter:He was always going out alone.
Walter:I told him something like this would happen.
Walter:But he wouldn't listen.
Walter:No, matt always knew best.
Nick:What's going on?
Clem:You need to tell him.
Nick:Tell him what?
Clem:What happened on the bridge.
Walter turns around.
Walter:Tell me what you did.

Nick:From a distance, it looked like anyone.
Nick:I thought he was going to shoot my friends, and I shot matthew.
Nick:But it happened real fast.
Nick:I didn't know if I hit him.
Nick:But I did, and I didn't mean to.
Walter:Do you know what you've done to me?
Walter:Do you have any idea?
Nick:I didn't mean to.
Nick:I'm so sorry.
Nick:I'm so sorry, walter.
Walter throws the knife away.
The wind turbine spins faster.
Kenny,Carlos,Sarita,Luke,Shawn,Otis, Lee,Doug,and Ben go outside.
Kenny: Walt, what's going on?
Walter doesn't answer.
Kenny:This storm's got it spinnin' outta control!
Lee:That sound's gonna draw walkers!
Doug:We gotta shut it down now!
Carlos: Nick, help me carry the guns.
Sarita: Guns?!
Carlos gives Sarita a rifle, and Nick gives Clem,Otis,Shawn,Lee,and Ben a pistol. Doug takes out his spanner.
Kenny:That thing's a damn dinner bell!
The group runs toward the turbine.
A booming sound is heard.
Kenny:What the hell was that?
The power to the lodge cuts out.
Kenny: Damn it.
Kenny:Transformer musta gone.
Kenny:Gotta check it.
Kenny:I could use a hand.
Luke:I'll go with you.
Doug:Me too.
Sarita:I'm going too.
Kenny:No, it's too dangerous.
Kenny:Rest of you, get this thing shut down.
Kenny,Luke,and Doug leave. Sarita opens the control panel on the turbine.
Carlos:Does anyone know how to do this?
Sarita,Lee,and Ben shrugs.
Carlos:Great.
Clem: I can do it.
Carlos: Okay.
Carlos:We'll watch your back.
Carlos: Nick, scan the trees with me.
Lee: Good luck, sweet pea.
Clem: Thanks, lee.
Clem uses her lighter to illuminate the panel.
Clem takes the key and uses it to unlock the switch. The turbine stops moving.
Nick:Somethin' ain't right.
Ben: Yeah.
Walkers start to approach.
Carlos:We don't have much ammunition.
Nick:We gotta get back to the lodge! Lee:They're behind us!
Otis: Everyone get ready!
Everyone shoots at the walkers trying to get back to the lodge.
As two walkers get near Clem, Carlos shoots them with his pistol.
Carlos: Run!
Carlos: Go!
A walker tries to grab Carlos and knocks his rifle off his back, but he turns around and shoots it. After killing another one, he starts to run.
Carlos:Keep moving, get to the lodge!
Clem tries to return to the lodge, but a walker stands in her path. She pushes over the walker Carlos killed and grabs his rifle. She shoots the walker but falls to the floor and drops the gun due to the recoil, failing to kill it.
Clem grabs Matthew's knife and hides under a picnic table. She stabs the walker's face as it reaches toward her.
Nick:Somebody, help me!
Clem runs up to Nick, who is struggling against a walker.
Clem: Nick!
Nick: Please help me!
Walter points his gun at the walker.
Otis: Kill it!
Walter kills the walker.
Clem,Walter,Nick,Lee,Ben,and Shawn run to Carlos.
Carlos: Clem and otis, get inside!
Carlos: Go!
Walter and Carlos continue firing as Clem and Otis run inside.
Rebecca: Clementine and otis, are you okay?
Automatic rifle fire is heard outside.
Alvin:What the hell?
They look outside and see a different group gunning down the walkers. Carver,Bonnie, and two man surround Sarita,Carlos,Walter,Nick, Lee,Ben,and Shawn.
Carver:Howdy, folks!
Carver approches Carlos.
Carver:Where's rebecca?
Rebecca: Carver!
Carlos spits in Carver's face.
Carver:It's nice to see you too.
Carver punches Carlos.
Sarah: Dad!
Rebecca: Sarah!
Sarah runs outside and hugs Carlos.
Carver: Inside.
Walter: It's you!
Bonnie: Keep movin'.
Rebecca and Otis goes upstairs, Alvin hides on the stairs, and Clem hides behind a couch as everyone enters the lodge.
Bonnie: Look at this place.
???:You believe this fuckin' place, bonnie?
???:Power and everything.
???:Lotta windows, though.
???:It's fuckin' huge.
???:Bill's gonna hate it.
???:The rest of 'em could be anywhere.
Clem peeks over the couch. When the coast is clear, Alvin motions to Clem, and Clem sneaks over to him.
???:Man, how the fuck are we gonna cover these guys and look for them too?
Bonnie: Johnny, cover that window.
Johnny goes over to the window, and Clem sneaks across the balcony to Alvin,Rebecca, and Otis. Carver's group lines up their hostages and binds their hands with zipties.
They ziptie Lee's hand to a wooden post.
Carver grabs Carlos' arm, drags him in front of the group, and punches him in the stomach.
Sarah: Dad!
Carver:Listen, I'm only gonna ask you once.
Carver:Where's rebecca?
Carlos: Sarah, look at me.
Carlos:It's gonna be okay.
Carver breaks one of his fingers.

Carver: Rebecca, our baby deserves to be raised in a place of safety!
Carver:I know you're out there.
Carver:And alvin, and, luke, and the girl and the boy.
Carver:This is real simple.
Carver:You want this over quick, you all play nice and show your faces!
Sarah:Don't hurt my dad, please!
Alvin:He'll kill him.
Rebecca: No, alvin.
Otis:We gotta go down there.
Rebecca:I can't do that.
Alvin: Bec, the baby.
Alvin:You need a doctor.
Rebecca: No.
Rebecca:Where's luke,kenny,and doug?
Alvin:How the hell am I supposed to know?
Clem:We have to help carlos.
Alvin:Only way to help him is to do what the man says.
Rebecca:What about luke,kenny,and doug?
Alvin:Look at those guns.
Alvin:We start shootin', and people are gonna die on both sides.
Otis: And none of us want that to happen.
Carver breaks another one of Carlos' fingers.
Sarah: Dad!
Rebecca: Clem can sneak out.
Rebecca:Find luke.
Alvin:What the hell's she gonna do? Alvin:And you heard him.
Alvin: Carver knows she's with us.
Sarah: Just stop!
Sarah:Don't hurt my dad, please!
Alvin:We're going down there.
Rebecca: He'll kill you.
Carlos:Fuck you!
Carlos:Shoot him!
Carlos:Somebody just shoot hi.
Carver grabs Carlos' hair and puts a knife to his throat.
Rebecca: Clem, go get help.
Otis: He'll kill him, rebecca!
Clem: He's gonna kill him.
Clem: Rebecca, we have to give up.
Rebecca: Bill, stop!
Carver: Ah.
Carver throws Carlos to the floor. Rebecca,Alvin,Clem,and Otis go downstairs.
Carver caresses Rebecca's face.
Carver:You alright?
Rebecca: Fuck you, bill.
Rebecca,Alvin,Clem,and Otis join the others in the lineup.
Walter: You don't want to do this. Walter: Please, let these people go.
Bonnie:Just shut up!
Carlos: Clem.
Carlos:Can you reach my hands?
Carver:Everything under control?
Carlos: Clem.
Clem: I'll try.
Clem reaches toward Carlos' ties but stops when one of Carver's men looks at her.
Johnny is shot in the head.
Sarita: Kenny!
Bonnie:Don't move!
Carver and his group hide behind the columns and look out the broken window near Johnny.
Bonnie:I can't see him!
Carver:Watch them.
Carver grabs Walter and drags him over to the window. Walter sees the nearby picture of him and Matthew. Carver shoots him in the head. Sarah screams and cries.
Carlos: No!
Clem:Somebody do something!
Carver:That's for our man!
Carver:Now, I didn't want to do this, but you ain't leavin' me much choice! Carver:So here's what's gonna happen!
Carver:I'm gonna march another one of your friends out here, and I'm gonna put a bullet in the back of their head!
Carver:Or you can give up now!
Carver:Your choice.
The column Carver is hiding behind is shot. He grabs Alvin.
Carver: Hi, alvin.
Alvin:You motherfucker.
Carlos: Alvin!
Rebecca: Bill, no!
Rebecca:Tell him to stop!
Rebecca: Kenny, stop!
Carver:Do you remember george, alvin?
Carver:You see, I do.
Carver:I remember a guy that was your friend named george.
Carver:I remember when you murdered him in cold blood.
Carver:And why?
Carver:Because you didn't like me? Carver:You could've lodged a complaint.
Carver:You could've well, you could've been civil.
Rebecca: Bill, no!
Rebecca:We'll do whatever you want!
Alvin: I love you, bec.
Rebecca: Bill, please!
Clem runs over to Alvin, but Carver hits her in the stomach.
Carver drops Alvin and picks up Clem. He takes her to the window and points the gun at her head.
Carver: We can do this all night! Is that what you want?
Kenny and Doug enter the lodge with their hands raised.
Carver:Where's luke?
Carver:Finally cut and run, huh?
Carver:Why am I not surprised?
Carver:I warned you.
Carver:I warned you not to follow him.
Carver:And look where he's led you. Carver:But you're safe now.
Carver:We're going home.
Carver:As a family.
Carver:Alright, round 'em up.
Carver:We're headin' back to camp.
Carver's group drags Clem's group out of the lodge.
