Circus in the Sky!

(Have some of this since I haven't written in a while)

G0Z tried chasing after Yukc0 but lost him in their large circus. He took a deep breath, panting from running so fast.

' 'G0Z, do you- know why Yukc0 was running?' ' SN00TZ walked over to G0Z, seeming a bit confused.

' 'I don't know, he's looking for DISM0L cuz I told him that he had a daughter named Serenity and Yukc0 was telling me about his daughter also named Serenity, and-' ' G0Z took a deep breath, choking on his breath.

' 'Woah, breathe dude, breathe. He's heading to DISM0L's diner, let's catch them there.' ' SN00TZ put a hand on G0Z's shoulder. G0Z nods, breathing heavily.

' 'Yea. . let's do that.' ' G0Z breathed heavily, walking off. SN00TZ followed.

Yukc0 burst into the diner with panic in his steps. He was breathing heavily from running. SK00TSY, DUMP7Y and DISM0L were in the diner as he came in, looking a bit surprised at Yukc0's sudden entry.

' 'Uh, hey Yukc0. Dd ya need Som-' '

' 'DO YOU HAVE A DAUGHTER NAMED SERENITY?!' ' Yukc0 yelled out, slamming his hands on the counter, causing DUMP7Y to jump.

' 'Uh, yea, I DID have a daughter named Serenity. I adopted her.' ' DISM0L said, setting a cup he was cleaning down. 

' 'What were her original parents names. .?' ' Yukc0 asked, his voice almost pleading. DISM0L thought.

' 'The dads name was. . Vincent, I'm pretty sure.' ' DISM0L answered. Yukc0 felt his heart clench in his chest.

' 'DISM0L. . is Serenity still alive. .?' ' Yukc0 asked, just barely a whisper. DISM0L held his breath for a moment. Slowly, he shook his head.

' 'No. She died in a fire at school. .' ' DISM0L answered. Yukc0's eyes widened. He sunk to his knees, lowering his head.

' 'Yukc0. .?' ' DUMP7Y questioned, putting a hand on Yukc0's shoulder. Yukc0 let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in and tears swelled up into his eyes. He covered his face with his hands, sobbing softly.

' 'How did you-' ' DISM0L suddenly froze, a switch in his mind going off. Was. . Was Yukc0 Serenity's father? Her real father?

' 'Yukc0?!' ' G0Z ran into the diner, his gaze immediately landing on Yukc0. ' 'No, come on Yukc0!' ' 

' 'I can't believe it. . .' ' Yukc0 spoke silently, tears streaming down his face as he sobbed. G0Z pulled Yukc0 close to him, trying to calm him.

' 'It's okay, you'll be alright. .' ' G0Z whispered against his head, stroking his hair. DISM0L came from behind the counter, crouching besides them.

' 'You three, out.' ' He demanded as he looked at DUMP7Y, SK00TSY and SN00TZ. They all left.

Yukc0 cried a lot more now, feeling like he could actually show emotion around people he trusted. G0Z felt so sorry for Yukc0, putting the pieces together of who this Serenity person was. DISM0L put a hand on Yukc0's back.

' 'I'm so sorry I didn't tell you sooner, Yukc0. I- I just had no idea you were her real father.' ' DISM0L apologized, though it didn't make Yukc0 feel any better. This is what he got for being such a shitty father and giving her up. Maybe if he hadn't, she would still be here. . .

' 'I'm such a terrible person. . .' ' Yukc0 sobbed into G0Z's chest, grasping his shirt tightly. G0Z and DISM0L locked eyes, both having no idea what to do.

' 'This. . may sound weird, but- She's still here. I see and- and talk to her sometimes!' ' DISM0L said. Yukc0 wiped his eyes, turning to him.

' 'Please tell me we can see her somehow too, I need to see my daughter. .' ' Yukc0 said in a low tone. DISM0L lowered his head for a moment, thinking.

' 'ᵢ'ₗₗ ₜₐₗₖ ₜₒ ₕᵢₘ, dₐddy. . .' ' A small voice whispered to DISM0L. He nodded his head lightly, looking at them both.

' 'She'll talk to you. .' ' He said. Yukc0 grew hopeful before it all suddenly went dark around him. 

He didn't feel G0Z holding him anymore and his heart began to race. He saw a yellow light out the corner of his eye and turned, seeing a small child standing before him. She had light brown skin and curly hair, her eyes as blue as the sky. His eyes widened, heart thumping in his ears.

' 'Serenity. . .?' ' He asked quietly. The girl slowly walked over to him, sitting down with her legs criss-cross.

' 'ₕₑₗₗₒ Dₐddy. . ᵢ'ᵥₑ ₘᵢₛₛₑd yₒᵤ.' ' The small child spoke. Yukc0 felt tears swell into his eyes again. He reached out to hug her, pulling her close.

' 'My baby, my sweet baby. .' ' He whispered with guilt lacing his tone. Serenity hugged Yukc0 back, tightly too. Yukc0 pulled back after a moment.

' 'I'm sorry I couldn't be the father you needed me to be. .' '  Yukc0 whispered.

' 'ᵢₜ'ₛ ₒₖₐy. ᵢ'ₘ ₙₒₜ ₘₐd ₐₜ yₒᵤ, dₐddy.' ' Serenity's voice echoed through the darkness of his mind. He couldn't help but feel terrible after hearing her voice for so long. He missed hearing his daughter speak, even if he hadn't know her for a long time.

' 'You should be, you really should be. I'm a horrible person and I just gave up on raising you to let someone I trust with my life now raise you. I know he was a good father to you, but I still feel sh*tty for not being the parent you needed. .' ' Yukc0 took his daughters small hands into his large ones. Serenity smiled at him, not feeling mad at all. She was relieved, if anything.

' 'Yₒᵤ ₐᵣₑ bₒₜₕ ₘy fₐₜₕₑᵣₛ. ₙₑᵥₑᵣ fₒᵣgₑₜ ₜₕₐₜ.' ' Serenity whispered before slowly standing and walking away. 

' 'Yₒᵤ wᵢₗₗ ₐₗwₐyₛ bₑ ₘy dₐd.' ' 

Yukc0 gasped, sitting forward. His heart was racing and her looked around the room he was in. He was in his own messy room. His heart wouldn't stop racing, despite seeming so calm. He put a hand to his chest, looking down at it.

' 'I'm so sorry. . .' ' He whispered to no one. He closed his eyes and laid back down, opening them to stare at the ceiling. He knew Serenity would want him to be happy right now, but he just couldn't.

However, he smiled still. He smiled knowing he got a chance to see his baby for one last time, more than likely. He was happy she had a good but short life. He was happy that she was happy. He was happy that he knew his daughter still loved him as much as he loved her. 

He was, for once, truly happy.
