Manic was in his room with his siblings. He just sighed stressfully.
He looked at his siblings asleep. Espio and Sora informed him that Amy and Shadow left just after Vectors murder. Jessie relocated the newlyweds to somewhere warmer.
Manic was suggested they do the same considering the murderers are after Sonic and Sonia.
Manic looked at the snowy storm while he sighed deeply.
All of a sudden, he heard growling from behind. He sees Sonic rolling over in his sleep while snarling.
Manic asked in shock, "What the hell?!"
Sonic screamed before his scream turned into a howl.
Sonic grew wolf ears and tail as he grew sharp teeth.
Manics eyes widened before he asked, "What is happening?!"
Sonic gasped before he looks at Manic was shocked.
Sonic felt different as he noticed his tail was longer than usual.
He then looked into a mirror immediately.
Sonic gasped in horror. He asked Manic, "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO ME?!"
Manic muttered, "W-wolf form?! H-How is this possible?!"
Manic tried not to panic before Sonic asked, "Manic what the hell happened to me?!"
Not long after Sonia transformed as well. She was not too happy about it.
Sonic 'in a scared tone' asked, "Manic what is happening to us?"
Manic then said as he placed his hands on his shoulders, "Baby bro? There's something I never told you or Sonia but don't freak out okay?"
Sonic looked down before he asked, "Okay. What is it?"
Manic then transformed into his wolf form before he answered, "Sonic? Listen. Our Father was from the ultima wolf pack a long time ago. Though in order to hide our identities we had to blend in with the mortals. That was when he met Mom and married her. I was born an ultima but you two... You two were born normal. Dad had me keep it a secret from you to protect you both. Anyone who dares hurt you I would kill them. No I didn't kill either one of them. Now with this situation, I have no choice. I'm sorry I kept it from you."
Sonia was surprised at this. She was upset but understanding.
But Sonic then said, "You haven't kept anything from me big bro. I knew all along."
Manic 'in surprise' asked, "Wait. You knew?! But how?!"
Sonic explained, "Well that incident with Scourge? When you were mauling him? I caught a glimpse of you doing it and when you transformed. I talked to Dad about it after that. Knowing you were caught, I told him I'll keep it quiet in exchange if he told me what happened. I'm sorry I didn't tell you."
Manic smiled before petting his brothers head and said, "Nothing gets passed you bro. Thanks for understanding."
Sonic winks and replied, "No prob."
Sonia then asked suddenly, "Wait a minute. If we are born normal how come we are wolves?"
Manic thought about it and said, "I don't know how it's possible either."
He then thought of something and muttered, "Unless..."
Manic senses something in the casino section. Something was off.
That was when Manic ran off as Sonic and Sonia followed their brother to the exact location.
