"Please don't hurt-"

"STOP CRYING, we are leaving hurry up. This is how its supposed to be, you know that baby." He got closer as they stood in Anna and Trentons bedroom. Frozen in fear she couldn't move as he got close enough to plant a sloppy kiss on her lips trying to get her to return his love he groaned pulling away. "I get it. Not here, don't want to hurt the guy who has stolen you from me. That's why I love you, you are so sweet. Start packing" He picked up a bag from under the bed like he already knew it was there and threw it at her.

"Ok" She sobbed before opening her drawers pulling random clothes out stuffing them in a bag, trying to appear more frenzied she sneakily pushed her phone from the top of the dresser into the bag hoping that it was on silent.

With every item she stuffed into the bag, she prayed that her phone remained unnoticed, silently hoping it would stay that way.

As Riley loomed over her, his presence suffocating, Anna felt a surge of panic grip her insides. She knew she had to find a way to reach out for help, to alert someone to her dire situation before it was too late.

"I-I'm packing," Anna stammered, her voice trembling as she tried to calm Riley while he kept frantically looking downstairs then back to her. "Just... just give me a moment."

Summoning every ounce of courage she had, Anna continued to pack her bag, her mind racing with fear and desperation. She knew she had to find a way to escape from Riley's and reach safety before it was too late.

As she zipped up the bag, her fingers brushed against her phone, hidden within the folds of her clothes. With bated breath, she prayed that it remained undetected, her only lifeline to the outside world in the midst of this nightmare. "Ok I'm ready" she said shakily.

Without another word, Riley motioned for Anna to follow him, "Baby we are going to disappear from this place." He gave her one quick peck as they reached the end of the stairs which after he turned around she hastily wiped off cringey with disgust.

Getting an idea she took a deep breath to prepare herself for the disgusting act she was getting ready to put on. "Honey-" she had to stop herself from gagging, "Can I text Trenton to tell him I'm leaving him? For you. Tell him I love you not him" She stepped closer to him running her hand down his chest trying to lay it on thick to fuel his delusion.

"Do you think I'm stupid? He will find out when he gets here and youre gone. by then we will be hours away. To bad he left you alone." Riley grabbed her hand roughly before going to the front door right as he opened it a fist came through the door way punching Riley straight in the nose before he could even react.

Anna's heart leaped with hope, her mind racing with disbelief as she watched Riley stumble back from the force of the blow. She blinked in shock, scarcely daring to believe that help had finally arrived in the nick of time.

As Riley recoiled from the punch, Anna's gaze snapped to the figure standing in the doorway, her heart swelling with relief as she recognized Trenton's familiar form. Tears welled in her eyes as she realized that her prayers had been answered.

"Trenton!" Anna exclaimed, her voice trembling with emotion as she rushed toward him, her fear momentarily forgotten in the rush of gratitude and relief. "Oh my God, Trenton, you're here!" Wrapping her arms around him she ignored the man on their entry hall floor.

Trenton's expression was grim as he surveyed the scene before him, his eyes narrowing with determination as he took in the sight of Riley, bloodied and disoriented from the unexpected assault. Without a word, he reached out to Anna, pulling her into a tight embrace as he held her close, his presence a reassuring anchor in the midst of chaos.

"Are you okay?" Trenton asked softly, his voice laced with concern as he gently brushed a strand of hair from Anna's face, from him it was everything she ever wanted. "You didn't answer my messages and calls I thought it was weird I was just coming to check on you."

Anna nodded, her heart overflowing with gratitude as she clung to Trenton, "I'm so glad you did." her fears momentarily forgotten in the warmth of his embrace. She knew that she was safe now, that Trenton would protect her from any harm, no matter the cost.

"You are RUINING EVERYTHING" Riley yelled from the floor. He aimed his gun at Trenton, "Anna is mine you goliath bitch." Riley spat him, Trenton moving in front of Anna held up his hands but he was too far from him to knock the gun from her hands. "What are you going to do about it?" He taunted.

Trenton stood still but whistled quickly. Before Riley could even react, Monsoon jumped onto his back sinking his teeth into him. Riley let out a cry of pain as Monsoon's teeth sank into him, the gun falling from his hand as he struggled to break free from the dog's grip.

With a swift motion, Trenton lunged forward, taking the gun off the floor, "Monne Guard" Trenton said making Monsoon release Riley but every time he went to get up he growled at him as a warning. In a matter of seconds, Riley was on the floor separated from her by her guardian angel and a very smart dog.

"How did he even get inside" Anna asked referring to Monsoon who she had let outside earlier.

"If doors have long handles, he learned how to open those a while ago. We won't attack unless I tell him too. I would have taught you but I didn't know this was going to happen I'm so sorry Baby." Just as Trenton gave her a small kiss a few officers came inside subduing Riley who was throwing an angry tantrum as they lifted him to walk him outside.

"Anna, I know you love me. Please fix this. We can run away together." He begged but she didn't say a word, pressing her face against Trenton's chest she let the police drag Riley out of her house.
