All of a sudden, police sirens could be heard.

"All available units, we have street-racing along Hawthorne..."

The voice could be heard coming from Leon's radio.

"Oh, shit! We got cops. Cops! Go!", he said, making everyone run into their cars.

I was driving quite fast as Dom and group scattered to different sides of the town.
I slowed down, so local cops don't find me suspicious.

Meanwhile Dom was escaping the police skilled as always. He left his car on the street parked and started walking like nothing happened-like he isn't the one that's being chased.
But things weren't going as planned when one police officer noticed him.

"Toretto, stop right there! Toretto!"

Dom started running as fast as he could, leaving obstacles so he could slow them
down.
Suddenly Brian crossed his path.

"Get in!"

Blondie said as he stepped on the gas pedal.
Brian's driving was fast and skilled, which Dom liked. He was holding onto car's hand holders, constantly looking at Brian.

"You're the last person in the world I expected to show up."

Dom said acting unbothered, but honestly was quite surprised.

"I thought if I got in your good graces, you might let me keep my car."

Brian used the situation, trying to prosper in his plan. Dom let out a smile.

"You are in my good graces, but you ain't keeping your car."

As I said, Brian's driving was too perfect for "first time racer."
Dom started to ask questions.

"You drive like you've done this before. Are you a wheelman?"
"No."
"You boost cars?"
"No. Never."
"Ever done time?"
"Couple of overnighters. No big deal."

Dom turned his head, facing the window.
"What about the two years in juvie for boosting cars? Tucson, right?"

Brian was confused, yet still confidently driving.
Dominic continued.

"I had Jesse run a profile on you, Brian Earl Spilner. He'll find anything on the Web. Anything about anybody. So, why bullshit?"

Dom said while laughing proudly.

"So, what about you?"

Brian asked, throwing a fast look at Dom.

"Two years in Lompoc.", he sighed.
"I'll die before I go back."

For the whole minute, the ride was silent. Until the night got more interesting.

"Oh, great."

Dom said, slightly rolling his eyes.

"What?", Brian asked confused.

"It's going to be a long-ass night. That's what."

All of a sudden, a bunch of motorbikes blocked their way, one biker signalising Dom to follow them.

It was Johnny Tran.
When they arrived at his garage, Brian and Dom exit the car.

"I thought we had an agreement. You stay away. I stay away. Everybody stays happy."

Johnny said, walking around the car.

"We got lost."
Dom said, slightly leaning on the already opened car door.
"What do you want me to tell you?"

"Who's "we"?"

"My new mechanic. Brian, meet Johnny Tran.
The guy in the snakeskin pants. That's his cousin. Lance."
