(10) Nothing Happened

ROSS'S POV

I open my eyes, with the feeling of someone watching me, I rub my eyes and look and of course Ellington and Rydel are staring.

Ellington: care to explain

I slowly slip Laura off my chest and walk the guys to the hall, closing g the door over.

Ross: okay so I brought her home because she was out of it and she came in and asked if she could sleep with me and I said sure, knowing that when she woke up she's going to be having her first hangover.

Rydel: well that was sweet of you, oh and I know.

Ross: know what?

Rydel: that your crushing on Laur.

I go to answer when I hear soft cries, it's Laura, I look at them and speak strictly.

Ross: we will finish this convocation later.

Rydel: yes we will

And she walks away and Ratliff quickly runs after her.

Ross: you okay?

I walk in whispering so I don't make it worse.

Laura: it hurts.

I dig through my draws and find the aspirin, I give it to her and I walk downstairs to get her a cup on water.

Stormie: Ross can I talk to you

Ross: just a minute mom

I quickly as possible go back upstairs and give Laura the water.

Ross: take it, it will help with your hangover.

Laura: thanks

Ross: I'll be right back

I walk back down stairs to my mom, who's in the kitchen making lunch, I'm guessing.

Ross: you needed me?

Stormie: do you sleep with Laura?

Ross: yes and no

Stormie: what do you mean by that?

Ross: that we slept in the same bed but NOTHING happened

Stormie: I am trusting you while I'm gone

Ross: wait gone?

Stormie: I told everyone during breakfast, your father and I have work to do so we will be gone for just over a week.

Ross: and Rikers in charge?

Stormie: nope Rydel

Ross: makes total sense, well I'm going to go help Laura.

I run back upstair to Laura just quietly crying in my bed.

Ross: it's okay

I sit on my bed and she cuddles up into my chest, I totally forgot she's still in her nerd outfit and I'm shirtless.

Laura: what happened last night?

Ross: you drank so much that I found out your drunk type and then you were being hit on and I knew you didnt want that so I took you home.

Laura: Thanks Ross

And I feel her snuggle up more, i think Laura's starting to like me back but just don't screw up Ross.

Ross: by the way my mom and dad are heading out of town for a week they leave later today.

Laura: okay cool

I feel myself falling back to sleep and I'm out like a light.
