Recap"Hello Callen, we have a lot to talk about fratellino, (Little brother) He said.
..................................
Calen looked at Evander harshly.
Evander's heart sank as Callen's cold demeanor washed over him like an icy wave. He had expected a warm reunion, a moment of recognition and embrace, but he knew he wasn't going to get any of that, now that he knew how Callen was acting.
Callen's eyes narrowed at Evander, his lips curling into a sneer. "I don't know who you think you are, but I don't have time for whatever game you're playing," he spat, his tone dripping with contempt.
Evander's jaw clenched at Callen's words, but he refused to let his emotions show. He had traveled across the country to find his brother, to bring him back into the fold, but now it seemed like a futile endeavor.
"I'm not playing any games, Callen," Evander said, his voice steady despite the turmoil raging inside him. "I'm your brother, Evander. And I'm here to take you home."
Callen's laughter rang out in the small office, harsh and mocking. "You expect me to believe that? That you're my brother?" he scoffed, his eyes glittering with malice. "I don't know who put you up to this, but you can tell them it's not gonna work."
Evander felt a pang of hurt at Callen's refusal to believe him, but he pushed it aside, focusing on the task at hand. He needed to get through to Callen, to break through the walls he had built around himself.
"Callen, I know this must be confusing for you, but please, just hear me out," Evander pleaded, his voice tinged with desperation. "I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to help you, to bring you back to where you belong."
Callen's expression softened slightly at Evander's words, a flicker of doubt crossing his features. But he quickly shook it off, his defenses snapping back into place.
"I don't know who you are, and I don't care," Callen said coldly, turning away from Evander. "I don't need anyone's help, especially not yours."
Evander's heart ached at Callen's rejection, but he refused to give up hope. He had come too far to let his brother slip away again, but Callen just had to continue on..
"I mean, did you really expect me to happily agree to come to a filthy Rich mans home claiming he's my brother?" Callen sneered.
"You could be a kidnapper for all I know, or even a pedophile!" Callen yelled with dramatics,"I'm not coming with you, old man, you should just give up while you're at it." He scoffed and turned away, expecting Evander to leave.Evander's patience wore thin as Callen continued to spew insults and defiance. He had traveled across the country with one goal in mind: to bring his brother home. But Callen's stubbornness threatened to derail his plans at every turn.
"I don't know who you think you're talking to, but you will show some respect," Evander growled, his voice laced with steel. "I can assure you i am not a kidnapper or a pedophile, but I am your brother, and I will not tolerate this behavior."
Callen's eyes flashed with defiance, his jaw clenched in defiance. "Oh, so now you're my brother, huh? Just because some random guy walks in and claims to be related to me, I'm supposed to believe it?" he retorted, his tone dripping with sarcasm.
