The racer by the name of V was all anyone talked about in Lima in the last two years. When Violet first stepped foot in Peru, she decided that it was time for a change. After spending two years trying to find Jakob, she decided to settle in one place for a while. She decided on a South American country early but settling in Peru just happened. She liked the racing scene there more than in the other countries she visited.

Violet was known as V – it was nice to be someone else for a while. No one knew her as Dom's little sister. Violet got to become someone she always wanted to be. And she was a damn good driver. She became the racer to beat in Lima. It was fun to race the locals and make a new name for herself.

While Violet was in Peru, she just happened to run into Emmett Owen again. After leaving California years ago, running into Emmett in Peru was a shock. He told her that he heard that there was a Toretto running around South America, he wondered if it was Dom.

Violet couldn't answer that question. She hadn't spoken to her brother in five years. When Violet left California, she left behind her car keys and cellphone. No one could contact her even if they really wanted to. Violet went off the map with no return date. To be completely honest, Violet didn't want to go back to the states, she didn't want to see her brother.

She was still angry after five years that he didn't trust her.

She did hear that Dom was wanted after the hijackings. Violet did a quick Google search when she got the chance, which only made her flee the country faster. Violet first traveled across the United States before flying off to Europe in search for Jakob and escape before the feds searched her name.

As far as Violet knew, she wasn't on the feds' radar considering she wasn't there when the hijackings started and dramatically ended. She left at a good time before it came crashing down around Dom and the crew. Violet knew that Vince, Leon, and Letty were on the feds' radar too.

Again, she hadn't heard from anyone until Emmett showed his face at a race.

Violet decided to let Emmett in on her plans in Peru.

Violet was happy that the times were changing, where NOS was becoming a thing of the past. More and more people were leaning towards how fast you could actually go in your car rather than how fast you can make it go. Violet didn't mind the shift at all, it was nice to see, and she still kicked ass.

The cheers increased as Violet flew by. She quickly changed the gearshift as she moved around the corner, heading down the street towards the beginning of the race once again. Violet glanced into the rearview, seeing one of the other racers trying to catch up with her. A smirk appeared on her face, "Nice try." Violet pressed her foot against the gas pedal, making the speed-o-meter's dial struggle as Violet went well over 110. It was a clean win on V's part – and the crowd loved it.
