Tonight was V's last ride in Lima, Peru.
She hadn't told anyone about her decision. She was just going to leave the car with a note in front of Luis' place, take her bag and take the next flight out. Violet wanted to start the search for Jakob again, this time India. She knew it was a long shot, but she had to check everywhere before she gave up one day. That would be something she dealt with another time – she wasn't going to think about giving up yet.
Violet turned the corner quickly, not thinking about anything but winning tonight. Whatever cash she won tonight, that would be used for her travels to a new place. Violet glanced in the rearview and then the driver's side mirror. She couldn't lose her last race in Lima; she wasn't going to leave without winning. Violet focused back on the road, pressing her foot on the gas.
She hit the gearshift, drifting around the next corner. She heard some cheers coming from the crowds who were watching the race. Violet brought out all the stops tonight, using all the techniques she learned over the years. She wasn't going to go down without a fight.
Leon stood next to Levi and Emmett, trying not to let his emotions get the better of him. He wanted to tell Vivi what he knew, but he didn't want to distract her tonight. Violet seemed eager to race tonight, Leon couldn't tell her about what he found out until they were back home for the evening. He didn't want to ruin Violet's night.
He looked up just in time to watch Violet speed past the paint on the ground with the second car right on her bumper. But just like every night that Violet raced, she won in the end. Leon still felt horrible about what he was going to tell her later.
Violet stepped out of the car, hearing the other racer cursing her out.
"Oh, fuck off, man! Just accept you got beaten by a girl." Violet said, rolling her eyes. He was just a sore loser, wanting to beat V for the first time since he started racing. Violet wasn't going to let that happen when he played dirty at the start of the race. He didn't deserve to win if he gonna act like that. The temper tantrum was pathetic enough for a grown ass man.
Violet slammed the door shut to her car, walking over to Levi. Levi grinned, "You can't be beat, it's fucking insane." Levi said, placing the cash into her hand. Violet looked over the money she won that night – it was more than enough to travel a little bit before needing to find a race to win. "If you keep winning like this, you're gonna be a legend." Levi added.
That was never Violet's ultimate goal when she came to Peru. She just wanted to race and make a name for herself that was Dom's Baby Sister. Violet wanted to be known on Violet Toretto, that was all.
