What's your opinion on platonic x reader fanfics? I just wanna know because personally, I have zero experience in the dating world, so I prefer writing platonic stuff to not get anything wrong. Also because it's just way easier to write. And when I have written relationship stuff in the past (never published it), it was mostly just fluff, like holding hands , couch cuddles and cheek kisses and stuff like that, but I find even that unnecessary to write when I have an easy alternative.
I also see platonic x readers to be underrated, especially familiar bonds or family member AU ones. The ONE that I actually found on Wattpad so far managed to slip in some romance with another character I didn't give half a shit about halfway through the fanfic 😐
(It was a Bendy x reader, the reader used to be an animator at Joey Drew studios. Bendy and the Ink Demon were seperate characters in this AU. I loved how the plot showed the idea of a mother and son relationship between Y/N and Bendy, and then I just stopped reading after Y/N showed signs of having a crush on the ink demon. I just want some platonic shit for once in my life, not everything has to lead to characters sucking faces, my guy- Take a chill pill, author chan, or whatever the fuck y'all wanna be called- )
