- Jake, not now. - Ivy whispered for the third time in less than five minutes, her voice tinged with affectionate frustration as she tried to divert his attention elsewhere.

But Jake was nothing if not persistent. He leaned against the table, his eyes fixed on Ivy, trying to catch her gaze.

- Come oooon, I miss you. - he pleaded. - Can't you take a tiny break? It's not like you need to study that much with your brain.

Ivy couldn't help but smile, but continued to concentrate on her work, trying her best to ignore his adorable antics. Even if he was getting more and more restless with each passing moment.

- Ivy. - he called, his voice growing more insistent. - My love. - he tried again - Diggory. - one more - My dear poison Ivy.

Letting out a heavy sigh, Ivy finally closed the book and looked at him, a soft smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

- Alright, what is it that you need?

A mischievous glint sparkled in Jake's eyes as he leaned even closer, puckering his lips into a playful pout.

- I want kisses. - he whispered. - Lots and lots of kisses.

Ivy couldn't help but laugh at his sudden need for affection, but she couldn't deny him either. Leaning forward, she placed both hands on either side of his face and placed gentle pecks on his forehead, his cheeks, and his nose, leaving a trail of soft kisses.

- There, happy now? - she teased, a playful twinkle in her eyes as she leaned back slightly to admire her handiwork.

Just as she admired her art left on Jake's face, Alexander and David, another friend of Jake, happened to pass by them in the library. Their eyes widened with surprise, David's muffled snickers escaping his lips, and Alexander wearing a strange expression of disgust.

- What's going on here, Snow? - David called out, unable to hide the amusement in his voice

Jake's cheeks flushed a deep shade of crimson as he batted away his teasing friends.

- It's nothing. - he stammered, trying to regain his composure. - Sod off.

- Mind if we steal Jake for a few minutes? - Alexander asked Ivy, looking at her.

- He's all yours. - Ivy replied with a grin, giving Jake a playful nudge as David dragged him away to outside the library

As Ivy watched David dragging Jake away, she couldn't help but notice Alexander's lingering gaze on her. When their eyes met, he flashed her a smile, causing her heart to flutter slightly. Ivy returned the smile, feeling a slight warmth spread through her cheeks.

Before Alexander followed the others outside, Ivy caught a glimpse of his cheeks turning a faint shade of red, mirroring her own. It was a small, fleeting moment, but it left Ivy with a strange feeling she couldn't quite place.

She tried to return to her studies, hoping for a moment of peace and focus. However, it seemed like nobody wanted her to study today. Out of nowhere, Cho Chang sat down in front of her, and Ivy looked up, startled by the unexpected interruption. They hadn't seen or spoken to each other in months, not, well, since Cedric's funeral.

- Hey, Ivy. - Cho greeted softly, her expression a mix of hesitation and sympathy.

- Hi, Cho. - Ivy replied, unsure of what to say next.

There was a moment of awkward silence between them before Cho spoke again.

- I just wanted to check in, see how you're doing. It's been tough for all of us since... well, you know. - Ivy nodded, grateful for Cho's gesture of kindness.
