Forgotten Lovers (Sonadow)

Chapter 4

Knuckles, Amy, and Tails hovered over to discuss about Sonic.

Sonic tilted his head while all of them were kind of in a hurdle. He was still tied to the bedpost.
Sonic looked outside and felt the air pass thru him and his quills which made his body tingle. He then smiled at this while he scratched the tie away.

"What should we do with him?" Knuckles asked the two.

"Well, he looks like couldn't speak and he's kind of deaf ish?" Tails added.

"Well, he's just hot and cute! His name is Sonic right? How did you know his name is he's deaf then?" Amy raised her brow while looking at the two.

"Well, when I was carrying him on the way here, he thanked me loud and clear and I asked for his name and he immediately responded saying he's"Sonic the Hedgehog" before he literally passed out and then I met Tails."
Knuckles explained to the two.

"Then why the hell is he acting that way now?!" The three of them slowly looked behind them and just saw Sonic closing his eyes, smiling while enjoying the cool breeze with the window open.

Sonic perked up his ears and looked at at the three of them and he just rolled his eyes and looked away.
And everyone was quiet.

"Hmm..." Tails broke the silence by going up to Sonic and looking at him in the eye

"Hi, I'm Tails. This is Knuckles and that girl is Amy. May I ask what's your name?" Tails smiled genuinely at the troubled hedgehog

He...doesn't seem to be a bad kid... Hmmm..should I?....

Sonic looked at Tails and then back to his hand. Suddenly, Sonic was shaking Tail's hand and smiled
Knuckles' jaw was wide open when he saw Sonic broke out of the tie so easily to shake Tails' hand.

"...Sonic... Sonic the Hedgehog" Sonic said in a low tone with a bit of embarrassment. As he scratched his head.

"Good to know!" Tails was such a sunshine.

Shadow's POV

"Ya calm now handsome?" Rouge was sitting at a tree branch nearby while Shadow kicked almost everything and when other agents tried to calm him down or stopped him, they were wrecked.

"Fuck..." Shadow cursed as he wiped his mouth on the back of his hand. He then glanced at Rouge who had a worried expression. Rouge then got down and made the bench sit upright and then sat on it.

"Well... As you may know it... G.U.N did send agents and robots there to... "Retrieve" two deadly weapons who are possibly a threat to us. If you know what I'm saying Hun... And I don't think I remember having the objective to kill the granddaughter of Gerald Robotnik though..." She tried her best to have a calming tone.

"Quite ironic huh? The ones who made you loose everything is also the very company that your working on--" Rouge was cut off by Shadow who raised his hand as a gesture to stop talking.

"Shut up Bat" Shadow said in the most cold way possible. Rouge can clearly tell that he's still traumatized about what is going on with his life. She'll give him time.

I went back inside to my room and locked myself up. Shit... Where is he...? Looks like I'm gonna stay at G.U.N for God knows when. 
I looked at the ceiling and got remembered by my bickering with Sonic. I looked over at my shoulder. He was not there. God, when was the last time when he was this long apart by his partner...?

"I don't wanna remember it" Shadow groaned and turned to his side while covering his head with a pillow.

--flashback at the early stages of experiments on the Ark--

I was covered in water. Wires was attached to my body and I felt immense pain and tried to look around at my surroundings. And then my eyes caught with his. We both stared at each other and I flinched when the other bared it's fangs at me. I tilted my head and I reached out my hand and pushed the glass but it was to no use. I looked at the beautiful azure hedgehog who was very calm. But suddenly both of us looked at a direction where we can hear footsteps and talking and we both saw a little blond girl who looked shocked to see both of us.

We heard them talking for a bit and the older man pushed a button which made me very sleepy all of a sudden and before I know it, I was covered in blinding lights and suddenly got up, people were freaking out and tried to calm me down by suddenly injecting me with a syringe. I heard a sigh as I soon began to feel lightheaded and dizzy and looked to my left to see the same hedgehog I saw earlier.

I suddenly felt warm on my hand and I jerked off because I was startled.
I looked to my shoulder to see him looking away while looking quite embarrassed as he held my hand tighter.
I didn't know what to do so I just let him do whatever.

After a few days, I have learned my purpose alongside with my partner "Sonic". After what happened at the Testing room where we officially met, I felt this weird feeling whenever I'm with him... But he then got comfortable with me and we started to develop our own personalities.

I wasn't as fast as him as he was designed to have the power the same speed as sound or so what I heard. But, them noticing I felt down not having this feature, they made me very powerful roller skates which made me catch up to him at times.

But then one day, when we were having a regular day at training, the goal was to survive without the other. That objective was the most suffocating thing I have ever felt. Not seeing my partner after so long made him burst into tears when we finally saw each other. We were apart for 2 whole months. And they knew that we were close. Since, the scientist wanted us to bond more but didn't realize we were already bonded. After that, I had anger issues and abandonment issues as well, making me very wary and grumpy. Sonic would sometimes be Influenced by my behavior but he is still a happy and a cute ball of sunshine.

--end of flashback--

"Mmmhmm. Sonic..." Shadow said under  his breath and Rouge just looked at him with pity. She then exited the room and tried to look up who and where this "Sonic" guy was. I mean sure, we were all informed to take on the two hedgehogs who has blue quills and the other was black with red stripes but all they found that day was Shadow.

Rouge then stayed up all night at her office. Looking at the report file and other documents regarding the "Escape pod".
