appearance: poofy curly black hair, bright green eyes that turn red when feeding on blood or hungry, very pale ghostly skin, short but very intimidating, 5'4, blank stare, dark circles around her eyes, looks kinda dead but very alive at the same time

personality: very mysterious and quiet, but very stubborn and mischievous. threatens her enemies without hesitation, not intimated very often, rarely does she show fear (she's seen a lot). to her friends, however, she's actually super sweet and caring, very good at emotional support and giving people what they so desperately crave, good at listening, incredibly observant, has a very soft but ghostly voice, slight British accent with Transylvanian sounding syllables

enemies/frenemies: her father, Xavier, Tyler, Bianca

backstory: the entirety of the Black family has always been stubborn and strict. they wanted to keep Marceline away from the outside where humans were; their enemies. however, the White family was the opposite of the Blacks and wanted the best for Marceline. they took her on trips to nearby human towns and even signed her up for a school where humans would attend. the Blacks were outraged, they wanted to put her into a private school or home school, but Marceline wanted the opposite.

while first attending Nevermore, she learned a lot and took control of all her maddening emotions about craving blood but also her tendency to curse people "on accident".
Marceline's family has been family friends with the Addams after her father Allastor worked with Gomez for a short time. she met Wednesday and Pugsley, and they became a trio, though Marceline and Wednesday broke off into their own friendship as they got older.
