Author's Pov:-
SUNDAY MORNING 6 AM
The sun casted a gentle light across the sky. Soft chirping of birds could be heard, and the weather was cool. Securing biscuit with a collar Anika took him for a morning walk.
Yashika was sound asleep, as she was a late riser, leaving Anika with the duty to walk biscuit.
Reaching the nearby park she was listening to some music while jogging. Suddenly she spotted a familiar figure.It was Arav, but with him was a little boy maybe 7 Or 8 years old.
It didn't take Arav much time to stop Anika,as he quickly made his way towards her dragging the kid along.
"Good morning Anikaa! Tum yaha ?" (Good morning Anikaa! You here?) Arav replied enthusiastically, he was very happy noticing Anika early in the morning. Anika always seemed to make his day better , even without him knowing.
"Morning Arav. I was walking biscuit. Who is this kid?" Anika asked directing towards the boy who was standing and watching them since the beginning.
"Hum bhupendar jogi , aur ap?" The kid replied with a grin , putting his hands on his waist, only to receive a smack from Arav.
"Actually this is my cousin Rishi. Isko sunrise dikhane le gaye the hum. Bohot ziddi ladka hai, aur ghar ka chotta hone ke nate, isko koi mana nehi karta" (Actually this is my cousin rishi. I took him to see the sunrise. He is very stubborn and because he is the smallest in our house no one can say no to him) Arav explained, with a bit of drama, as if expressing his sorry for himself.
Anika made a O face before replying "Mera nam Anika he tumse milke khusi hue rishi"( My name is Anika. Nice to meet u Rishi) She patted his head lovingly.
"Ooo so you are Anika didi! You are Arav Bhaiya's gf right! Pata hai bhaiya always talks about you allll the time.. Ye tumko bohot pasand karta hai" (u know bhaiya always talks about you alllll the time. He likes u very much.) Rishi stated smiling , as if he finally reached the conclusion of his brother's secret crush. His assumptions made Arav facepalm himself as he shot Rishi a glare to shut him up.
A hint of pink crept up Anika's cheek as she looked around feeling loss of word.
"Are .. I mean.. We are not in a relationship.. He is just a friend " (I ... I mean we are not in a relationship he is just a friend) Anika said looking flustered rubbing her nape trying to avoid eye contact.
"Yea I am only her friend.. But friends don't feel this much flustered either do they, sunshine?" Arav whispered the last line in her ears making her gasp and shy at the same time.
"Well it's getting late.. Mujhe jana cahiye. Late horhi hu .. Bye!" ( Well its getting late , I should go now, bye!) Anika stated, waving a goodbye to Rishi and Arav before making her way out of the park.
"Thanks yaar rishi , agar tujhe sunrise dikhane nahi lata.... Toh meri mulakat meri premika ke sath nhi ho pati" (Thanks yaar rishi, if I wouldn't have brought u to see the sunrise I wouldn't be able to see my crush) Arav said patting Rishi on the head, while looking at Anika's leaving figure with lovey dovey eyes
"Sunshine.." Anika's mumbled recalling how Arav gave her a nickname. A smile lingered on her lips as she made her way out of the park.

Yashika was on her way to work , when she felt her tummy grumble. "Are yaar breakfast skip karne ki wajah se, ab pett khali lag raha hai." (Are yaar because of skipping breakfast now I am feeling so hungry) She complained to herself before spotting a cafe nearby. She made her way towards the cafe to grab something to eat.
