hey

I hate everything. Well, almost everything. There are a few things I don't hate, but it's hard to admit that. Anyway, today was going to be different. I was supposed to spend the day with Bubble, and I wasn't sure how to feel about it. I mean, it's Bubble. She's always so cheerful, so cute. Ugh, why does she have to be so cute?

We met up by the lake, the sun shining brightly above us. Bubble was already there, floating and giggling, her eyes lighting up when she saw me. I could feel my face getting hot. Stupid blushing.

"Hi, Fanny!" Bubble exclaimed, her voice as bubbly as ever. "It's so nice to see you! Are you ready for our day together?"

"Uh, yeah, sure," I muttered, trying to keep my cool. I looked away, hoping she wouldn't notice my red cheeks. "What do you want to do?"

"Let's go for a walk!" Bubble suggested, bouncing in the air with excitement. "I want to get to know you better!"

Great, a walk. I could handle that. As we strolled along the path by the lake, Bubble started asking me questions. Simple ones at first, like my favorite color and what I liked to do in my spare time. It was easy enough to answer those without getting too flustered.

But then she asked, "Fanny, why do you hate everything so much?" I stopped in my tracks, caught off guard by her question. "I don't hate everything," I protested weakly. "There are some things I don't hate."

"Like what?" she asked, her eyes wide with curiosity.

"Well, um," I stammered, feeling my face heat up again. "I don't hate...you."

Bubble's eyes sparkled, and she giggled softly. "Aww, that's so sweet, Fanny! I like you too!"There it was again, that fluttery feeling in my chest. I tried to focus on something else, anything else, but it was hard when Bubble was right there, looking at me with those big, adorable eyes.

We continued walking, and Bubble started talking about herself. She told me about her favorite games, her friends, and all the fun things she liked to do. I found myself listening intently, even smiling a little. It was hard not to when she was so enthusiastic about everything.

"And that's why I love hanging out with everyone," Bubble concluded with a happy sigh. "They're all so special to me."

"Yeah, I guess," I mumbled, glancing at her. "You're pretty special too, you know."

Bubble beamed at me, and I felt my heart skip a beat. "Thank you, Fanny! That means a lot coming from you."

We sat down on a bench by the lake, the water sparkling in the sunlight. I fidgeted with my hands, feeling nervous and unsure. Bubble noticed and gently floated closer to me.

"Fanny, are you okay?" she asked softly.

"I'm fine," I lied, my voice barely above a whisper. "It's just...you're really cute, Bubble."Bubble giggled again, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink. "Oh, Fanny, you're so sweet! I think you're cute too!"

I couldn't take it anymore. My face felt like it was on fire, and I covered it with my hands, hoping to hide my embarrassment. Bubble's laughter filled the air, and I couldn't help but peek through my fingers at her.

"Fanny, you don't have to be embarrassed," she said kindly. "I like you just the way you are."

Her words were like a soothing balm to my frazzled nerves. I slowly lowered my hands, meeting her gaze. "Really?"

"Really," she affirmed, her smile warm and genuine.

I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself. "Thanks, Bubble. I...I like you too."

We sat there in comfortable silence, watching the ripples on the lake. For once, I didn't hate everything. In fact, I felt pretty good. Maybe even happy. And it was all because of Bubble. She had a way of making everything brighter, even for someone like me.

Maybe, just maybe, I didn't hate as much as I thought I did. And that was a nice feeling.
