SOME SAID ADELAIDE JONES would grow to be the Ark's most dangerous girl. In some ways, you could say they were right.
She used to be the sweetest child. That was before everyone found out the colour of her blood. Black. She spent her entire childhood in and put of the doctor's office. They did endless amounts of tests, yet they found nothing.
As one could imagine, she didn't have many friends growing up. Although, there was one girl who stood by her side since they were five. Raven and Adelaide first met when Adelaide had just finished an appointment at the doctors.
She was running down the hall when she bumped into a young girl. They crashed so hard, Adelaide scraped her knee and started bleeding. At first, she freaked out. She was so afraid Raven would be like everybody else and call her a freak, but she just thought it was cool. The two girls were inseparable ever since.
Kids at her school used to bully her because of her blood. They eventually grew out of it and didn't care, but being bullied does something to you forever. It makes you always worry about what people are thinking about you, what they're saying behind your back. Adelaide had always lived in that fear.

When her mother was floated, something inside Adelaide changed. Without meaning to, she turned cold to almost everyone, including her own father. She was constantly seeking for a way to avenge her mother. She hadn't done anything to deserve to be floated, at least that's what Adelaide meant.
Anyone who knew her, knew she never meant to be mean. That's just what happens when you lose someone that was such a big part of you.
Rumours had it that her soul was as black as her blood, though it wasn't true at all. She still had a soft spot, but everyone had been so mean to her, she felt a need to hide that softness.
