ೃ⁀➷WHO'S AFRAID OF LITTLE OLD ME season one — episode four no body, no crime ⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚
'WELLS IS DEAD.' WHO KNEW THREE words could cause so much chaos. After Finn had informed Adelaide about what happened to Wells, they, Octavia, Jasper, Bellamy, Monty and Clarke gathered in a tent to talk.
Octavia placed a knife on the ground in front of the group circling around it. Adelaide pulled her knees to her chest as she stared at it.
"It was made metal from the ship," Clarke stated, and everyone looked at her. "It means the Grounders didn't kill Wells. Someone here did."
Adelaide picked up the knife and studied it carefully. Something was carved into it, but the crimson red blood covered it. She pulled her sleeve down over her hand and attempted to wipe it away, though most of it had stiffened already. When whatever stood there became more readable, Adelaide froze in shock, though she was quickly snapped out of her daze by Clarke. "Who else knows about this?" the blonde asked.
"No one. We brought it straight here," Octavia answered as her eyes fell on Adelaide, whose eyes flickered back to the knife. A drop of red liquid fell down on her lap.
"So, there's a murderer in this camp?" Jasper's voice was shaking slightly and filled with fear. Obviously, he hadn't done anything that bad to get arrested back on the Ark.
Bellamy crossed his arms. "There's plenty of murderers here. We need to keep this quiet," he ordered. Adelaide stood up and walked to the opening, but Bellamy blocked her before she could walk out.
"Get out of my way, Bellamy," she demanded as she took a few steps back and met his eyes. He ignored her, and ran a hand through his hair, revealing more of his brown eyes.
"Think about it. Letting them think the Grounders killed Wells is good for us."
Adelaide scoffed. His eyes drifted down her body, or more specifically, his jacket he lent her the other day.
"Oh, yay," she started, sarcastically, "keep people afraid and they'll work for you, sound about right?" She didn't mean to snap at him, but after finding out who the knife belonged to, shock and betrayal flooded her mind.
"Yeah, that's it," Bellamy snapped back.
"Pussy. You only wanna save your own ass."
Bellamy chose to ignore her last comment. "Fear of the Grounders is the only thing building that wall right now. Besides, what are you gonna do, huh? Ask the killer to confess? You don't even know whose knife that is," Bellamy said and gestured to the knife in her hands.
