In which y/n is the new photographer for Chelsea FC, and as she goes to work for the first day, she can't help but capture the eye of Noni Madueke.

Y/n's heart was pounding as she stepped onto the green pitch of Stamford Bridge. It was her first day as the new photographer for Chelsea FC, a dream job that she had worked tirelessly to achieve.
Yet, despite her excitement, she couldn't shake the nerves that were twisting in her stomach. She didn't know anyone here, and the size of the stadium made her feel small and out of place.
On one side of the pitch, Enzo was in a deep conversation with Noni Madueke. They were talking about some tactics to use in their upcoming match, when Noni's attention had shifted.
He nudged Enzo, pointing towards the entrance of the field, where y/n was standing.
"Sorry man, but who's that?" Noni asked, curiosity laced in his voice.
Enzo's gaze followed to where Noni was pointing, and he smiled. "She's the new photographer for the team. Pretty, isn't she?"
Noni nodded, feeling a flutter of nerves. "Yeah, she is."
"You should go introduce yourself," Enzo suggested with a teasing grin. "You know, make her feel welcome."
Noni shook his head and hesitated. "What if I make a fool of myself?"
Enzo laughed, giving him a reassuring pat on the back. "You won't. Just be yourself."
Taking a deep breath, Noni gathered his courage and walked towards y/n, who was working on adjusting her camera settings.
She looked up as he approached, her eyes widening slightly in surprise. She didn't expect any of the players to speak to her yet.
"Hi," Noni said, offering a warm smile. "You must be y/n, the new photographer. I'm Noni."
Y/n smiled back, feeling her nerves ease a little. "Hi, Noni. It's nice to meet you."
Noni scratched the back of his head, suddenly feeling a bit shy. "I thought I'd come over and introduce myself. It must be nerve-wracking being new here."
She nodded, grateful for his kindness. "It is, a little. But everyone from the staff seems nice so far. You're the first player I've spoken to."
Noni grinned, feeling a little special. "We're a friendly bunch. If you need anything, just let me know."
They began talking, and y/n found herself relaxing more with each passing moment. Noni was easy to talk to, and his genuine interest in her work made her feel valued.
They discussed photography, football, and their favorite spots in London, finding common ground and shared interests.
As they talked, y/n couldn't help but notice how cute Noni was. His bright smile and warm demeanor made her feel at ease, and she was glad to have met someone so welcoming on her first day.
Towards the end of their conversation, Noni took a deep breath, deciding to take a chance. "Y/n, I know we don't know each other too well, and this might be weird, but I just wanted to say that I think you're really pretty."
Isabella's eyes widened in surprise, and she felt a blush creeping up her cheeks. "Thank you, Noni. That's really sweet of you, and I don't think it's weird. I think you're cute as well."
Noni's grin widened, clearly pleased by her response. "I'm glad you think so. Maybe we can hang out sometime, you know, outside of work?"
Y/n felt her nerves go away completely, replaced by a flutter of excitement. "I'd like that," she said with a smile.
Noni nodded, feeling a surge of confidence. "Great. I'll let you get back to work now, but I'll see you around."
He was about to leave, but turned back around. "Actually, do you think I could get your number before I leave?"
Y/n blushed again, and nodded. "Sure."
Noni handed the girl his phone, and smiled to himself as he watched her type her number in.
"There you go," y/n smiled at Noni as she handed the phone back to him. "So you'll text me then?"
"Definitely," Noni said as he sent a wink her way.
As he walked away, y/n felt a sense of relief and excitement. She had been so worried about starting this new journey, but meeting Noni had made her feel welcome and ready to take on the challenges ahead.
She watched him rejoin Enzo, who gave him a thumbs-up and a knowing grin.
She laughed as she realized why Enzo was giving Noni a thumbs up.
Y/n took a deep breath and looked around the stadium, feeling a renewed sense of confidence.
She was ready for this new chapter in her life, and after meeting Noni, she knew that she might even get more than what she expected out of working here.
