She begged and begged to no one.
Begged for them to relieve her of her burden.
For them to take the load from her.
The load of living that had been heaped on her back.
But all that the stars did was laugh at her tauntingly.
And the fates turned round only to mock her with a glance.
The angels jeered and teased her.
And so did whatever was left of God.
Like the Devil.
Living in Hell.
Like she was.
