Day 41

I woke up in a unfamiliar room. The ceiling was different. That's how I can tell where I am. I looked around and saw boxes with my name on them. Ray Suginami was pasted on every box. I got up and looked around the room. I decided to have a look and see where I am. I opened the door and slowly walked out. I heard two male voices. My brother and an unknown man. I walked halfway down the stairs and eavesdropped.

" She won't be happy." My brother said.

" I know."

" What about mom?"

" She doesn't know where I live and wouldn't suspect Ray was here."

" Okay. I'm going to check on her." I heard footsteps and quickly, but quietly climbed back up the stairs and back to the safety of my bed. My brother entered quietly and I pretended to be asleep. He sat down on a box next to me and sighed.

" Where am I?" I asked. He jumped when I said this then had a grimm look on his face.

" We are at dads." He said. I got up and slapped him. His face was a rosy color now.

" Why did you bring me here of all places?!" I yelled. He had a look of sorrow on his face and turned to face the door.

" He misses you." He said. I felt heat rush through my cheeks. I started crying and walked out the door.

" I would rather die than see him." I said while walking out the door. I walked into the bedroom that is supposed to be mine. I grabbed a few outfits, money, and opened another box to grab a photo of my happy family. I was about to walk out the door when arms wrapped around my waist.

" Please don't leave Ray." My brother said. My dad walked down the hallway and saw me with the bag and hand on the doorknob. " Dad, do something!" He said as I squirmed. My dad was about to hit the back if my neck, to knock me out, but I caught his hand in mine.

I managed to escape my brothers grasp and raced out the door. I opened the door and was greeted with a gust of wind. I ran down the long driveway and ran down the road.

Away from dad

Away from my brother

Away from the Sugnami's.

I raced down the road and into the woods. My feet had pebbles stuck in them. My legs gave out once I was deep in the thickets and I fell to the forest floor.

I landed with a thud and finally lost my breath. Is this it? Is this the end? Please...

Let me die.
