"Fenicia doesn't know this but Keegan is in the hospital." Mom walks into the house and beings to talk to me. 

"Like she would care after last year." I scuff and she looks at me weirdly.

"You could be right but Keegan is her brother after all." I nod at her words.

"How exactly did he end up in the hospital mom?" I ask turning off my laptop and closing it.

"He was doing the usual, picking fights." She shruggged a little.

"He pcked one with the wrong person huh." I laugh to myself. "He used to want to fight me lucky he didn't."

"Bragstin be nice, I know Jes a troubled kid but you know he's still family." The front door opens and in walks Fenicia. "Hey baby." Our mom smiles at her.

"Hey guys, I'm going to bed." I knew something was wrong but what was it.

"Nash." I say to myself and run up the stairs behind her.

I knock on her bed room door and I hear the t.v go quiet "Come in Bragstin." I enter and the t.v flashes its color becoming the only light in her room.

"What's wrong?" I sat on the edge of the bed.

"Nash and I-" she started and I cut her off.

"I knew it, he's always been-" Fenicia cits me off

"Bragstin he's not bad!" She shouts but sighs "All we did was talk about the past." She lays her head in her knees "You know I'm happy, he and I are friends now."

"Oh." Is all I said for the moment. "Nicia look, Nash plays this game and I'll be dammed if he plays it with you."

"Bragstin just stop." her voice at some type of weak point now.

"Stop what, stop protecting you like I should be? Nicia he's just going to use you for wjatvhe wants most, he's going to-" she cut me off again.

"He's going to what?" Her voice speaks up with frustration, I tug at my hair and sigh.

"He's going to get you addicted to his touch like he did to all he other girls." My voice comes out angry.

"SHUT UP KEEGAN!" Fenicia yells as she pulls at her hair. "All you do is hold me down, you kick me to the ground and you just keep me as your slave!" I looked at her confused. "He won't hurt me, he won't touch me he promised." My eyes widen.

"Fenicia, Fenicia it's Bragstin." I move closer to her "Snap back Nicia it's happening again."

"Keegan I hope you die, you're the reason why my body is bruised you're the only one." My mouth drops, he's the one who's been..

"Fenicia I'm not Keegan, Keegan is in the hospital." She's gets lost in the past. "Nicia come on." She becomes violent and I sigh remembering what I had to do. "Mom, Dad! I pause as I run to the door "It's happening again!" Their footsteps could be heard as they rushed up the stairs.
Fenicia was still ranting on, getting more lost.
She doesn't recognize me but she recognizes our mom.
"Shh Fenicia its okay." Our mom holds her tight as she calms her down, our dad stands beside me and sighs.

"I'm sorry dad." I sigh.

"It's fine just be carful with things you say remember that." My dad puts his hand on my shoulder.

"I know but-" I look at Fenicia who was looking at me in desperation, I knew she was back. "Nicia I'm sorry." I rush to her and she engulfs he into a hug.

"Bragstin did I-" he voice cracks

"Yes, but it's fine, I'm sorry." I pause "Just I'm sorry." I whisper.

"Give him a chance." I sighs and she pulls away. "Please."

"Fine." I say and she hugs me again.

"Thank you Bragstin." I felt her smile.

"Now you two get along." Our parents walk out of the room with a sigh.

"I'm sorry." Is the last thing I say before the two of us decide to just watch some t.v.

I have a friend who actually reenacts her past like Fenicia did in this chapter.
