Part 5

"Who are You?"

He's my old and best friend, he really changed and I couldn't recognize him from his clothes and appearance. But to be honest, he's attractive if I were to compare him to his previous appearance, I would prefer his current appearance, the only thing that turns me off is his style now.

"Hello?..." Clyde asked me confusingly.

Does he no longer remember and recognize me? Even just my name? How did he manage to forget me? I thought we would still be friends like before, but like I said a lot has changed, I just didn't expect him to change too.

"Hi, I am Sheilah Wang Li" I said nervously.

"Yeah whatever, I didn't ask." He answered coldly.

"If you really want to join this club, be attentive, not absent-minded, stay focused."
He added.

"Just don't mind him, he's just being him"
Alea said seeing my reaction.

"Oh.. ha..ha.. it's nothing to me." I said with a fake laugh.

After I filled out the form, we immediately left to go home. Kyle wanted to take me home but I refused, he's nice but I don't trust people right away especially since we both just met.

I should forget Clyde but I can't get out of my mind if he really forgotten me. It just hurts to think that I'm that easy to forget, I know I'll make new friends too but our friendship was different before.

What happened to him and he became like that, he used to make me happy, he used to be my happy pill now it's like a blur. But I'm still hoping to be friends and restore our old relationship with him.

(The next day.)

I was at the door of the classroom when I saw Clyde sitting in my chair. I approached him to say that this is my seat. But before I could say anything, he immediately stood up and looked at me in the eye. (What is he thinking?).

"are you good?" He asked.

"Good of what?" I asked with a confusing look.

"If you are really determined to join my Club, prove it." He coldly reply.

What is this person's plan? And how can I prove it? What will he ask me just to prove something?.

"I want to know if you really deserve to be included, because this club is only for people who deserve it. Brain for the Brain." He added.

So what does he mean by that, I'm stupid? Is this still a Clyde that I know? It looks like he doesn't know me anymore, I wasted time to remember him and not forget him. Maybe everything is changing, I should forget that he used to be my friend.

"Sure, I'll prove it."  I respond.

I am a fighter if he thinks I will give up because of what he said, he is wrong. If he has changed, so have I.

"Later after school hours, straight to the club to prove something. I don't like people who only talk but lack of action." He coldly responded.

"Sure."
