A Clown and his queen

Chapter 4: The L Word

As the sun started to show its face and the night became day, Ray Mond woke up to the sounds of the Chang Gang anthem being played as an alarm. She rolled over and turned it off and noticed that the bed that once held a clown in it was now empty and the mask wasn't on the table.

Ray walked down the stairs and into the dining area where she saw a plate of food, a drink, a single rose in a vase, and a note that read "my cups" on it. She sat down and took a bite as she was starving so loud her stomach was growling.

She noticed the note and flipped it open to read it was by chatterbox and the note said:

"Hey cups, had to run into town for a few things. I should return soon, I enjoyed sleeping last night!"

She smiled closed the note and finished eating. Afterward, she headed back to the room she was sleeping in and sat on the bed reading her messages and Twatter. Moments later she heard Chatty downstairs and yelled "I'm in here" to which he joined her.

"How you sleep cups?" he asked as he walked in and looked at Ray. Ray could tell he was kinda in his thoughts so she asked "What's wrong"

"Nothing just last night I said after you fell asleep don't wanna lose you," he said as he sat down and looked at Ray "I can't lose you Cups," he said a tear now building in his eyes.

"You won't lose me chatty, you stuck with me forever now," she said giggling and then bumped his shoulder playfully. "Good cups, 'cause I love you! I can't lose you"

Ray was STUNLOCKED! He just said the L word, and meant it! She was so afraid of being this close to someone but the truth is she felt the same way. The silence was interrupted by a phone call from Sooty and Chatty had to accept this call. He walked out of the room and was talking to Sooty about something that was muffled.

Scared by the sudden feelings Ray felt she didn't know what to do, all she knew was she needed someone to talk to bout this. She quickly got dressed and tried to scale down the side of the funhouse before getting into a random car, lockpicking it, and driving away. She headed to Grove Street in hopes of finding Max at the Gworl's house.

After entering and finding no one home, Ray decided to head to the hospital for some bandages. She locked the door behind her and was heading to the parking spot when she noticed a car coming down Grove Street that just didn't seem right, it had a funny gut feeling about it.....
