Chapter 10: trumpets sing, hearts break, end is here

As the trumpets roared through the sunny sky, Chatty felt a sudden urge to wanna just break down. He promised himself that he would risk himself to make sure she was safe, and he failed that. Chatty wanted to blame himself if only he just didn't sell for CG and interfered with Ray's relationship with CG. He hated himself now and couldn't even look at himself in the mirror.

Chatty was interrupted by self-dooming by Sooty when she put her hand on his shoulder. Chatty turned and the tears were flowing so hard Chatty wasn't even hiding it anymore, Why would he? everyone knew they were together, nothing to hide. Chatty heard the host ask everyone to take their seats, Chatty sat down in one of the seats in the front row.

Chatty saw the casket before him, the slick wood box was so beautiful..... it would be exactly what Cups wanted Chatty thought to himself as another tear hit his hands that were in his lap. He wanted so badly to run up to the casket, pick up his Cups, and hold her just one more time. More importantly, he just wanted to wake up from what seemed like this nightmare, but he was awake and this was real life.

"We are here at the Funhouse to pay respects and celebrate the life of Ray Mond" The host stated in the microphone which was planted on the balcony overlooking the entrance of the funhouse. "Ray leaves behind Chatterbox and all the Clowns, whom I know this must be the most difficult days for them." Chatty hearing his name was almost cold to him, he felt like it wasn't real.

"Ray was an angel for everyone, people often said she was a smile that people needed. She was often the most rebellious child of the city but loved by a lot of people. She will be highly missed but now I ask Chatterbox to the stand to say a few words." Chatty didnt know what to say, but felt that the words would come to him freely.

Chatty took the stand and cleared his throat, he looked out at the faced of people who attended this ceremony. "Cups was something I never thought I would need in life, Something that was suppose to be just a harmless little prank with a Expired ID turned into meeting the greatest women i could ever ask for" He said as he tried to fight back the urge too cry before continuing "Cups, I want this to be a bad dream... i want you to just jump out that casket like you jumped out at me in the canal from that bush" he said as he wiped his eyes. "I know you aren't pranking me but i need you here, you keep me sane.... keep me alive" he finished before stepping off the stand.

The Ceremony Continued and then a handful of clowns picked up the casket, loaded it into the hearse then shut the doors. The Clowns all got into their club cars and escorted the hearse all the way to mount chiliad, they got to the top where you could see a a hole with a stone slab that read:

'Ray "Hiccups" Mond'

'The queen of the HDMI'

The Clowns took the casket from the hearse and walked it over to the metal rods ready to lower it into the ground, before that everyone had a chance to say their goodbyes. Each Clown walked up, placed a hand on the casket and said their goodbyes then waited for it too be lowered, The Last one was chatty and he walked up and kissed the casket top and whispered "You are special Cups" he said as they lowered the casket.

Sooty, kirk, twinkles, hardy, and Bozo all waited with chatty as they finished covering the hole with the casket in it, They started to walk back to the club cars when Chatty said "Wait yall I have to do one more thing, ill catch you at the fun house" he said as he turned around and walked back to what was now just a piece of stone in the ground. Chatty knelt down and said "Cups this is for you" and then removed his mask and laid it down at the base of the stone... leaving his mask there and his face now exposed to the world to see....
