𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖 [the atypical family | bok gwi-ju × oc]

𝐢𝐯. 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧

Yeoreum had finished her class and had decided to surprise Ina by picking her up at school. She had waited in front of school, but as she kept going back and forth the gates to wait for Ina's classes to finish, she was approached by a security guard.

He had ushered her to fill in the guest book  and come wait at the school instead, which Yeoreum had found confusing. So as she waited in front of the doors for Ina, she started browsing on her phone.

"Oh, are you visiting one of the students?" Someone called out behind her. Yeoreum looked around so see a man, who was probably a teacher there. She politely smiled.

"Yes, I am. The security guard told me I could wait here instead." She explained and put her phone back in her pocket.

"Can I ask which student are you waiting for?"

"It's Bok Ina." Yeoreum answered, and the teacher had a shocked look on his face.

"Bok Ina?" He repeated, "Are you perhaps her guardian?"

Yeoreum hummed, "I guess so...?"

"Great. Can we talk about Ina in the lounge?"

Yeoreum closed the door of the lounge behind her in deep thought. She and the teacher had been talking about Ina's school life, and Yeoreum did not expect it to be like that at all. With her, Ina was at least more open. She was a silent child, but not in any way did Yeoreum thought Ina was left out of everything in school.

The meeting was done just in time as the bell rang, and many of the students had excitedly got out of their classes or club activities as the teacher told her. They all passed her without looking, and Yeoreum was just waiting for the one face she had been waiting for.

After everybody dispersed, Ina appeared out of a classroom that Yeoreum concludes must be hers. Ina was looking down and lost.

"Ina-ya," Yeoreum called out to her.

"Yeoreum-ahjumma?" Ina looked up in confusion.

"Ahjumma...? Ina-ya..." Yeoreum pouted, "I'm not that old..."

Ina unexpectedly gave her a small smile in return. "Why are you here?"

"I finished class early and wanted to go home with you," Yeoreum said as they walked together.

"I see..." Ina didn't question anything. "I have cram school today..."

"Oh, okay. I can accompany you." The two walked comfortably to her cram school, with Yeoreum treating her to some snacks along the way.

As they were about to separate from each other in front of the cram school, Yeoreum had stopped her from going inside.

"Ina-ya..." Yeoreum called out, making Ina stop and turn around, "If you have... Any problems, at all, don't hesitate to call me, alright?"

Yeoreum gave her a smile. "No matter what... I'll come running to you whenever you need me."

Ina gave her a little nod, and went inside the cram school.

Yeoreum had went to Dasom's place to hang out. Dasom was doing some of her schoolwork while Yeoreum slept on her friend's bed.
