Jake's lost twin

The arrival

Mei pov.
...and saw...
a group of na'vi, but not the same as all the na'vi of this clan, they were... similar to me... their skin was dark like mine and their eyes were yellow like fire like mine... I'm afraid... afraid that those people are who I'm thinking about...people, or rather... the person I dream of every day... who hugged me and cuddled me like a treasure that cannot be touched...but it wasn't like that... Jake... my beloved twin... how I missed him... but I'm scared... why?... now that I think about it it's not fear... on the contrary... I'm nervous, I'm anxious... anxious that he won't recognize me anymore... that he won't love me anymore... I understand he left me because he found a woman, even if it has nothing to do with the fact that you don't love me anymore.
I eyed the woman next to him, it had to be her, she's beautiful...
I eyed the teens, similar to him, who were behind him. They must necessarily be his children...they're so beautiful, like him and their mom... damn he chose her really well, she is so pretty...
I locked eyes with Jake... anxiety instantly overwhelmed me...
He give me a surprised but happy look...
Some men came to call me... my presence is required... there... together with Ronal and Tonowari... they probably recognized Jake.
I was walking towards them when I noticed Ronal holding the arm of a boy, probably one of Jake's sons, his gaze was on the ground and it didn't look like a good queue at all, so I decided to increase the speed in my walk, I passed the crowd and got there, finding myself next to Tonowari watching the scene. I stepped forward and approached Ronal.
"Ronal, what are you doing, can't you see that he's uncomfortable?", I said to her with my hand on her shoulder.
He let go of his arm and dragged me back to Tonowari's side. "You don't know the gravity of the situation..." she said to me in a somewhat harsh tone, which was strange from her, she always speaks to me sweetly so I asked her "Why, what happened?"
"They are looking for UTURU!"
"U-uturu?!" I look at them one by one, my gaze falls on the little na'vi that the woman is holding by the hand, probably Jake's daughter, my gaze becomes softer and mine and the little girl's gaze meet, I look at Ronal again . "Ronal...I think it wouldn't be a bad idea..." Ronal glares at me and looks back at Jake's family, Tonowari and I exchange a look.
Then Tonowari say, "We are reef people, you are forest people, your skils will mean nothing here" and I replied "They can learn our ways am i right? Like i did" i look at Jake and his mate and they say "Yes"
Then Ronal say "They're arms are thin and their tails are weak, you will be slow in the water, these children are not even true na'vi, they have demon blood!"
I exchange a look with Ronal.
But Jake say to Ronal "Look. Look. I was born with the sky people and now I am na'vi, all right? We can adapt, we will adapt, ok?"
Ronal and Tonowari looked at me, I nodded.
Then Jake's mate say "Uturu has been asked"
Ronal and Tonowari exchange a look.
Then Tonowari say "Toruk Makto and his family will stay with us. Treat them as our brother and sisters, they do not know the sea. Teach them our ways." then the little na'vi says "Thank you" I held back so as not to start jumping from side to side at how cute and sweet she was, I just looked at her with a sweet look and smile. 
And Tonowari says "My son, Aonung, our daughter, Tsireya, and Mei's older children Naran, Leyra and Entu will show your children what to do." Aonung tryed to dispute but Tonowari said "It is decided"
Then Tsireya says "Come i will show you our village", and I say "I can help you carry your stuff if you want." I gave them a sweet smile, and Jake's mate said to me "Thanks, you can take this" we exchanged looks with a smile and I all motioned to follow Tsireya.
When we had arrived at their tent Tsireya said  "This is for you, your new home."
And Jake says "Yeah this will work" and he look at me with a sweet smile. I put their stuff in the tent and said "Ok I really have to go, I'll see you later, let me know if you need anything, you'll find me nearby ok? Bye!" I waved and I walked away. I was very agitated but I tried to calm down, I was on the verge of crying until I saw Jake's children jumping in the water with Aonung, Tsireya, Naran, Leyra and Entu so I decided to swim a little too so I moved away from them a little so I won't disturb them but I anyway stayed around.
I was playing as usual with some gold-colored fish that was nearby, commanding them with my hand where to go, until I felt someone behind me, I turned and saw a girl, Jake's daughter even though she didn't seem like his to me, she has very different features from both Jake and his mate but she had the facial features anyway familiar, which I have already seen.
She smiled at me, a little embarrassed and waved at me, i waved back and with sign language, I asked her what she was doing here, she looked at me with a bit confused look then I signed her to go to the surface and so she did. On the surface I asked her "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with the rest of the guys?" and she says "Yes, but I was just looking around here for a bit, everything is so beautifull!Then I saw that you were controlling those little fish with your hands and I stopped to look at you a bit" I thought for a while and then told her with a sweet smile "If you want I can teach you how to do it" and she looked at me with excitement "Really?! Would you teach me?!" and I replied "Sure, but first can you tell me your name?"
"My name is Kiri and yours is?"
"I am Mei" I stopped for a second and then said "Perfect then come under the water so I can teach you" I smiled at her and she agreesand we both went under the water and started the "lesson".
After I taught her how to do it while standing nearby I watched Jake try to ride a skimwing, I giggled a bit before looking back at what Kiri was doing. I noticed an ilu that swam around her, she looked at me as if to ask if she could ride it and I nodded. I called my ilu and started swimming with her. With Tsireya and Leyra's help we get to where the others were and I left them alone to practice.

Time skip at night

We were all swimming together in the sea, I tried to ignore Jake even though he kept looking at me. Since this morning I have become very close to Kiri, we swam together for a long time tonight and I am with her even now, we are commanding side by side those little gold fishes that I taught her to command them this morning, and little by little we were moving them in sync while smiling at each other.

As soon as I got home I wasn't in a good mood, I was sad, sad that I don't talk to my twin becouse of my anxiety, I miss talking to him. I started preparing dinner even though I was in a bad mood. As soon as my kids and Kai arrived we all sat down together and ate, usually I am the one who cheers up the mood and I always talk at lunch and dinner but this time I didn't talk because of my bad mood and I think they noticed both Kai and my children. After dinner, my kids were sleeping and I was tidying up the house a little until Kai said to me "Love, come out for a second, we need to talk", after this I officially had confirmation that he had noticed. I left the house with him.
Outside the house, tears began to fall and he opened his arms to invite me into a hug, so I hugged him and cried in his arms. He was silent until he said "That Jake who showed up yesterday is your twin, right?" and I still nodded in his arms and sniffed and said "What do I do? What can I do? Give me ideas, tell me something, because I really don't know how to handle this situation. I miss him Kai. I miss talking to him, I want to talk to him. I want to be in his arms again. But I can't, I can't stand it. I feel so anxious every time I'm near him, he wants to talk but I really can't. Tell me how to make a decision." I said in a desperate voice as I sobbed between words with tears streaming down my cheeks. He replied "Don't rush, leave time to time. Sooner or later you will talk and clarify. But don't cry now, I can't bear to see you like this." he wiped the tears on my cheek with his hand and I said "Thank you" with a sweet smile and he took me by the hips to bring me closer to him, we looked at each other for a while until he kissed me on the lips, a reassuring kiss. I already felt better. After a while we broke the kiss and he said with a smile "Now let's go to sleep, tomorrow will be a new day" and we went back to our tent with a smile. We lay down and he hugged me while we fell into a deep sleep.

I have to admit that this is my favorite chapter at the moment, and also the longest for now (1808 words)!🫢
