My dad had divorced yet again. It had only been a month and he had already announced his engagement to another woman. A younger one this time. When he announced it at one of his monthly functions after party I was like whatever, it's going to be over soon anyway. I didn't even catch his fiance's name. Now here she was, standing in my living room. I didn't pay much attention to her until she said hi.

I looked up as soon as I heard her angelic voice. She looked even better than she did on TV. The whole world seemed to have stopped moving as I fell into a trance. I was hypnotized by her hazel brown eyes. I blinked twice and lowered my gaze. My eyes fell somewhere else, on something better, way better. My eyes fell on her clivage. I'd never been one to be attracted to female body parts but she was something else. The temperature in the room rose ten degrees higher. I unzipped my puffer vest in attempt to let some air in. Why was it suddenly so hot? I diverted my eyes to my dad in attempt to erase the images that were clouding my mind. After a few more breaths I looked back at her gorgeous face. Her cheeks were now tinted light red.

I gave her my hand and said, "Hi, I'm Skylar." She extended hers and gracefully shook it. I couldn't hear what she was saying at that moment. All I could think about was how soft her hand was, how smooth her skin felt against mine.

"Sky this is Kaitlyn, my fiance." my dad said as his hand snaked around her tiny waist. Her smile widened revealing pearly white teeth and a smiley piercing which made her bright smile shine even brighter. My dad's hand on her annoyed me.

"I know Dad, I saw it on TV."

My father sighed and said, "Kait, can you give us a minute darling?" Kaitlyn nodded before striding gracefully to the kitchen. Her skimpy dress rode up with each step. The dress was so tiny that if she were to bend over just a little, her underwear would show. Hell a ninety degree bend would air out her coochie area. Though the tiny dress and heels complemented her runway worthy walk. Images floated around in my head until my dad started speaking.

"Sky I'm sorry, okay. You're the first person I should've told." He said.

"But somehow I was the last." I replied coldly. I might have overreacted a little. Why was I even mad? It's not like it's going to last anyway.

He marries a new woman every year, even the pastors do not tell him wedding vows anymore. You'd think after six marriages he'd stop saying "till death do us apart" but no, two months after announcing their wedding, we were back in church witnessing yet another joke. How was he even allowed to get married? No one should marry this many times, especially not my father.

The couple kissed and everybody cheered. Most of them were only here for the free food and the expensive alcohol. I was one of that bunch. I had one too many drinks and found myself mingling with the newlyweds. My father was called by his business partner and left Kait and I alone.

"Congratulations I guess." I said as I took a sip from the champagne glass in my hand. "I hope you know this is not really a wedding, it's a funeral." I said with a burp. My legs were now wobbly and I was feeling a little light-headed. "Ooh, the alcohol is getting to me now, I should go. Welcome to hell, mom." I gulped down the rest of the liquid and gave Kaitlyn the glass before wobbling my way out. I left her frozen, astonished. I needed to go home and sleep. Eight hours in stilleto heels was no joke.

On my way to the gate where I was going to wait for a cab to pick me up, an old friend of mine ran up to me. His eyes were red from the alcohol poisoning. How he carried himself reminded me of how high his alcohol tolerance was back in highschool.

"Kev, my man." I fist bumped him and said, "Long time."

"Feels like fifty." He replied then he took a sip from his whiskey. "Seeing that you were already leaving, how about we hit the old man's club? I'm meeting a couple of school mates there."
