Minho

I don't want to go in there again. It feels like my self respect suffered a storm. Yesterday was frustrating. Working with the man still in my mind. But I had to keep up with it. I can't hinder Chan's growth because of my feelings.

I entered the building again with our finance department head. He wanted to look through the building for coming up with a budget to work efficiently.

Han, the head of the finance department went on to each floor observing at the interior. I tapped him on the shoulder as he was writing something on his notepad. "I'm going to use the restroom." He just nodded and went back to his writing.

I was about to come out of the room I used when I heard a voice. "Is he that important?" I heard an echoing sound. "I don't know maybe he is. Like who would treat his important dealer like that? That too just for a friend? Maybe they have other relations."

"Who knows." Another man replied. I frowned lightly trying to connect the dots but my mind said it was a waste of time so I didn't pay much attention to it.

I walked back to the area as I saw Han and Changbin at a distant. Han was still busy with his work as Changbin saw me and gave a look to quickly come towards him. I stepped closer. "What?" I spoke looking at Changbin.

"Sir, I heard something very... unbelieving." I love gossips. "What is it?" Changbin looked around first and then spoke in a low voice. "I just spoke with the CEO's assistant, the guy who was there with us yesterday." I slowly nodded waiting for him to continue.

"Remember the man who made you bring a glass of water for him?" I glared at him for bringing it up again. Changbin continued ignoring my expression.

"His assistant told me he accidentally told Mr. Bang about it and then Mr. Bang made the man walk up to fifty floors of this building by saying the lifts are under construction and then when he finally reached the floor, he broke the deal with him."

I remained stunned at the information and yet he continued. "He also pulled a lawsuit against him."

"A lawsuit?! On what basis?"

"IIED, Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress which can be done If someone's actions are extremely outrageous and intended to cause you severe emotional distress, then you can have a claim for IIED." Changbin replied.

I stormed into his room as I saw him on a call. He saw me and ended the call earlier than expected. "What is it?" He asked keeping his phone down. "Did you break one of your most important deals just because he made me bring a glass of water?" I said still trying hard to believe it.

"Yes, and?" I sighed In frustration at his casualty. "Didn't you think for once before doing it? After spending so many months on the project you just break it off? Didn't you consider your employee's hard work for these months? That too just over a glass of water? Plus it's me with whom it happened. Why do you care about it?" I spoke furiously.

"I've already compensated my employees over it. And about the last question, I should be the one asking you that. You obeyed him just because I said it was an important deal? Why do you care about it? You could've fired back." He raised a brow at me.

"I can't believe you. I did that so that your deal is cracked easily. You were the one who told me to not engage with them." I defended. "I did tell you but I never told you to remain silent and do whatever he commands."

"Are you mad at me for doing that?" He sighed and shook his head as he laid back on his chair. "Not really. I, in fact appreciate you. But I'm hoping you won't tolerate such behavior in future no matter what position the person may hold."

I raised a brow. "You don't need to worry about that, I suppose." And with that I exited out of the room.

Flashback

They both looked at the cctv monitor. Changbin gulped as he looked at the furious expression on his friend's face. "Chan, don't you think it's a lot? Just break the deal, why a lawsuit?" He said looking at the man walking the stairs with half dead body.

"A lot? It's less. He dared to disrespect my husband, Changbin. He'll not get away with it easily." He said in a low and deep voice with the most dangerous expression anyone could hold. He knew perfectly that the filthy man needed the deal as much as Chan did himself so he took advantage of it.

"I don't think it'll work out. I would like to cancel the deal."

Chan

I heard the ring of my phone while I was loosening my tie. Looking at the ID, I picked up. "What?"

"Your employees seem interested." Changbin spoke from the other side making me frown. "Interested in?"

"My boss." He took a pause and then continued. I paused my actions too making me pay more attention to his words.

"A guy from the purchase department of your company, long hair, blonde, tall, sharp eyes, has dimples." He paused again giving me time to process. I clicked my tongue as I figured out who it was.

"The one that dresses everyday like he's in the Paris Fashion week?"

"Exactly that one." I sighed. "It's Hyunjin. What did he do?" I spoke coldly. "Nothing much just casually flirting with your husband. But it seemed that Minho wasn't that interested in him." I exhaled deeply.

"Can everyone leave my man alone?"
