Chapter 14 Escape truck

There is a lot to process as Gummigoo had just realized that his entire life is a complete lie, everything about him it wasn't real. The lads, the village, the kingdom, everything was a complete lie including his very own mum is a complete lie it is a lot to process. It felt so real though it's hard that everything he knew, is a fabricated story just for a challenge.

As the marshmallow bandit found it difficult to believe, because the all of his memories felt so real to him, there's no way that all of it is fake. He knows that his feelings and his experiences are real but Gummigoo also started to realize that there some of his memories, that seem to be incomplete.

Like the memories of the village. He doesn't know what it looks like and the other villagers. Also he doesn't know how he and the lads manage to steal the maple syrup, in the first, place? Along with the truck, how did they get that truck anyways? It didn't make any sense? Then there is the fact that he doesn't remember how the sickness started.

The whole reason why he and the lads stole the maple syrup in the first place, is because the entire village including his mum are struck down by mysterious sickness. But Gummigoo doesn't remember how it even started as he looks at his duplicate again and the duplicates of the lads. He honestly started to realize that slowly he entire memories are fabricated despite them feeling so real.

When he saw Pomni and Deyna, trying to get out of this place trying everything they can do here. Gummigoo just look that the duplicates of him and the lads. As he doesn't know what to do about everything now that he knows is just a big fabrication.

"Is there any way for us to get out of here?"

"I don't know. But we can ask the marshmallow bandit for help."

The jester soon looked at Gummigoo as Pomni isn't really sure as to what to do about this situation as it's clear that looking at him that he's having an identity crisis. But how will the marshmallow bandit leader is the going to help Pomni and Deyna. But for some reason Deyna thinks that Gummigoo can help them so the jester decides to give it a try.

"Hey.... you mind helping us to get that."

"Why should I...? Everything that I know is a complete lie. All of it. Nothing was real about it."

"Oh... you're it having a identity crisis, because you just discovered that everything you knew is a complete fabrication. It's a shame honestly."

The jester look at Deyna as there's something different about him but whatever it is had left, though Pomni could've sworn that Deyna had tried to comfort the marshmallow bandit leader but that goofy expression returned to his face. Soon Pomni looked back that Gummigoo that is still looking at his duplicate and the duplicates of the lads as it is clear that the marshmallow bandit leader is not doing so well.

In a way Pomni can relate to this. Because the events from yesterday the jester remembers it all to well. So Pomni just sat down next to Gummigoo as there is nothing to be said. At least at the moment the only thing that Deyna didn't say anything as he decided to let the newbie speak first.

"Well.... I can't imagine going through that experience but... I know that you are not alone."

" I don't understand... why are you and him trying to help me? I'm just a challenge for your entire crew, to complete. So I don't understand. Why do all of this? What do you and him have to gain out of this?"

That made the jester pause, as then something else happened as Deyna goofy expression, started to become different as it is trying, to become a comforting, expression. It is surprising, to Pomni at least but then the goofy facial expression returned.

" There has to be a way for all of us to get back to the kingdom we can't give up."

" Yeah.... also I know what it's like to be completely thrown for a loop. So I don't want you feel the exact same dread I felt."

" The both of you are strange buggers. But..... I appreciate that."

" This might sound crazy, but maybe you can come back to the circus with us."

Deyna soon look at Pomni as a concern expression appeared on his face, knowing what Caine will do to the NPC when seeing him in the Tent. But he didn't even get a chance to explain as the jester continued the conversation.

"Do think you I'll be welcomed there?"

"Sure. I positive that you'll be welcomed in the circus. I know you will. But I'm sure you'll fit right in with us, besides I would like to have a friend there with me."

Deyna wanted to tell her what Caine will do to the marshmallow bandit leader but he still couldn't join all the conversation as the jester continued to speak. As a comfort smile appeared on his face as the marshmallow bandit leader felt better as he soon moved his hat a little bit as he started to speak again.

"A friend. Alright then. But when we get back I suggest we don't tell the lads about this. They're a couple of bright eyed yobbos and I don't wanna take them down with me."

"Okay dokie boss bandit we won't tell the other members of your group about this."

Deyna had manage to finally enter the conversation but when he did the reason for why had left his mind what did he wanted to say? He just ignored it because it wasn't that important if he forgot. Luckily the jester and the marshmallow bandit leader are busy with something else. He look around trying to figure out how to escape. As Pomni asked the marshmallow bandit leader, what's his name.

"Yeah that makes sense. So you gotta, a name by the way?"

"Gummigoo."

" Wow that's.... Just about as dumb as mine and his name."

"Hey! My name is perfectly fine thank you very much."

As the marshmallow bandit leader revealed his name as he wanted to know how to get out of there and back to the others, as the jester is also trying to figure out to escape the testing map. Deyna is looking around seeing everything around here.

"Well....you and your friend are the experts here. There must be a way to get out of here."

"Actually I'm not and I don't think he is either. But I'm sure we can find a way out of here. I don't know how but there's has to be away, out of here."

" I gotta an idea! Why don't we use that double truck. Since a truck got us in here maybe this one can get us out."

That alone actually made a a lot of sense, as Pomni didn't know what to say about that idea. Dayna just stood there then going off to get something, Gummigoo soon manage to get some blocks with the help of Deyna, as the jester is in the duplicate truck. Once everything is in place as Deyna along with the marshmallow bandit leader soon entered the truck.

As Gummigoo soon started to drive the truck on the blocks causing them to launch the truck out of the testing map. Deyna is excited seeing everything flying around as he looked through the truck window as Pomni turned around to see the marshmallow bandit leader as a relaxed smile appeared on her face. Gummigoo turned around, mimicking the same expression on his face as all of them were heading back to Candy Canyon Kingdom.
