ACT 2 - Chapter 22

NOTES:

So I have decided that the reveal of the two OCs is going to happen after the fight with Childe, which is literally around the corner because I am in the process of writing and editing it and they are going (the chapters) to be released sometime this month (May of 2024) from now. I am going to post a non-chapter announcing the winner/s before the chapter is posted.

During this period, I may write to you and ask more questions to determine whether or not you're okay with some of the things I have in mind because I want to make sure I have your consent in certain things such as the background of some of them.

If I don't receive an answer I will most likely choose another one or insert my backup for good measure.

I can't believe it took almost a year for me to get to this point. I'm excited as hell and I love every single one of them I have seen so far! Anyway-

I'm also happy to announce that one of your wishes was heard and that we're going back to Mondstadt for a bit to meet our old friends and build up the harem before moving to Inazuma. Also, I plan for Inazuma to be shorter than Liyue so we can finally catch up to Sumeru. We might meet some of the Hydro Nation characters along the way as well. Also, I have left ONE hint in the previous chapters at what could the reason be for our return to the nation of freedom but I'm not going to reveal it just yet so y'all gotta wait ;>

On another note, not as important, literally just venting, I have lost my 50/50 for the Father banner to Keqing (I wish it was Tighnari) intentionally just so I can make sure I win for Wanderer's banner this month and I did it! I am now a Wanderer player and I never thought Windrace could be this fun despite my social anxiety, which is huge progress for me cuz I did every boss and Dragonspine quest on my own until later when a few bored angels proved to me that I didn't have to be so terrified of interacting with people and asking for help.

I wish you all nice players the best of the best and you have no idea how much your kindness helps individuals like me who have difficulty connecting or communicating with strangers!

On another note, I thought that Wanderer was not meta or something and some players don't want his banner, which saddens me a bit.

For some reason, he's one of the very few characters in the entire game that I feel so much love towards no matter what version of themselves they are. I could say that he is my comfort character. No matter what and who he is, I couldn't stop myself from finding comfort, pain, and love in him. Innocent version? Love him. Murderous one? Love him. Suicidal and then just wanting to do better? I adored him no matter when and what. Perhaps there's a part of me I see in him to some degree that I couldn't let go because I wish I was this loved when I was vulnerable.

Congratulations to everyone who won their banner or lost to someone they wanted to lose. I hope you're all doing well and remember that grass smiles at you so make sure you get to pet it and say a few kind words!

Your conversation with Keqing went well, mostly consisting of her talking more about her beliefs and you agreeing or disagreeing with her. In all honesty, it was a pretty entertaining debate regarding the different views the two of you had.

She believes that humans should decide their own future from now on. And you agreed. But humans agreeing to let someone else rule them is also them choosing their future. They could make those decisions themselves if they wanted.
