ACT 2 - Chapter 23

Holy crap this took so much time to write. Why the hell does Childe's boss fight have 3 STAGES?! I can't skip them like regular boring cutscenes because not only is it an important lore fight, but also because it's an opportunity to break and establish new relationships.

Not only that, but I played a LOT with the reactions I thought Childe and the other two would have to find out about MC and couldn't decide on what route to go. Angst or weird? Dumb or downright soul-crushing betrayal???

This scene turned out to be the only thing standing between the reveal of the 2 OCs and finishing the damn chapters that turned way toooo long for its own good. Mr worldwide is that obstacle and I can't believe I was a fool to think it was gonna be easy writing this. CHILDE had me fooled and he's fictional.

Anyway, please excuse the ugly battle as I have tried my best to convey and describe what was happening, and also I hope you were not disappointed in the weapon choice. I would have chosen a big ass scythe if it was after me (it is, but the stupid plot said " no! ✋️ stop right there you criminal scu-" and threw grass at me), but considering that a whip was flexible and you can technically control its movements in secret cuz it's made out of elemental stuff (and because I love Mitsuri), it made a better choice for now until I'll sneak in a mini training ark or something and have us use multiple weapons like the badass we'll become. Probably gonna happen in Inazuma, and maybe Natlan. 

LAST NOTE:

The previous note is just me venting. This is about the OCs. They will be posted in the same chapter they are going to appear which is still in writing and you may or may not receive messages asking about their background specifically since most of them have a difficult one to integrate and I mean their life story.

Or maybe I can just avoid the "So what did you do before you were appointed as a Divine Priest/Priestess for my dad and now me?" question MC would definitely ask them (don't lie. I know you'd be curious too.) and maybe chew Luna out for not giving them something more entertaining than whatever they are supposed to do in the moments they lived in that timeless space.

But it's also not that big of a deal since I could give them that life after meeting MC or a part of it. I just want to make sure that whoever wins is okay with changing the background completely or altering it to make it fit the story easier. But just because I might be asking, it doesn't automatically mean that person won. I just want to make sure I have consent because all of them are precious and I just can't find it in me not to take them seriously. CONSENT IS IMPORTANT. So if you have other OCs to send, you still have time:> 

The next chapter will be posted in about a month from now and it will also be the one where our new OC friends will make their entrance, so yeah. The full credit will be given in the same chapter.
