"I'll never stop loving you the way I do Cerise, I couldn't," Brandon shook his head. "You're the love of my life and I still love you even when it hurts. I still love you even when I'm angry. I still love you when the sun shines and I still love you when it rains," he assured defeatedly. "But right now, I just need some time— the same way you did,"
"If you love me you won't make me do something I don't want to do Brandon,"
"Cerise and what about my feelings? Not everything is about you and that's your fucking problem. You don't think about anyone but yourself," Brandon said frustratedly, straining to keep his voice at a neutral level but her stubbornness was re-cultivating a fiery anger inside of him. "You're selfish Cerise, you're a selfish individual," he seethed angrily.
"You went behind my back and betrayed ME and now you want to kill the baby we conceived on purpose because YOU'RE mad?" Brandon questioned rhetorically.
"It wasn't on purpose—,"
"It wasn't on purpose?" He repeated in dismay, letting out a stifled chuckle as he stared at her. He truly couldn't believe what he was hearing and the words flowed so freely from her mouth as if he meant nothing to her. "So what the fuck was it Cerise? What the fuck does that even mean?"
Cerise sat quietly, staring back at him sheepishly. She didn't know what it meant, she was just saying things out of anger because she was hurt, but this was the bed she'd made and Brandon was going to make sure she slept in it too.
"It wasn't on purpose but you let me fuck you with no protection. It wasn't on purpose but you beg me to nut in you every time we have sex. For what, your own satisfaction? You thought your birth control was going to save you? You don't even take that shit everyday tell the truth Cerise!" He shouted, scooting up to the edge of the couch as he looked at her with a disdain so deep one could mistake it for hatred.
"Cerise you haven't taken your birth control in a month, be fucking honest," Brandon spat. "You thought I wouldn't notice? What— do you think you're invincible? You're mad. You're mad because of your own wrong doing and you're trying to use our child as a scape goat and I'm not going for it Cerise, I promise you I'm not,"
Cerise clenched her jaw repeatedly, her eyes burning with regret and shame. He saw right through her like a window pane, a torn page from his favorite book.
"You had all that mouth in the driveway and now you have nothing to say?" Brandon taunted with a sardonic expression. "You're a brat Cerise, I told you that from the day I met you," he continued before grabbing her by the face roughly to make her look at him.
There was a flicker in his eyes, the dark brown of his irises darkening until all that was left was empty black sockets as he stared at her. "If you do something to my baby out of spite to hurt me, I will break your fucking neck," he whispered before mushing her face.
