Sunflower (TW for mentions of operations, I guess?)

So, as some of you may know, when I started one of my books I was a HUGE fan of the newly released Adventure Time series, Fionna and Cake. What some of you may not know is that I was going through an ESPECIALLY rough time in my life at that point.

I went through a surgery (nothing life-threatening, it was all okay), and after that surgery, something went wrong. It was a fluid leak of some kind, and I felt TERRIBLE. I couldn't even sit up without getting a massive headache, and I felt so weak that whole time.

I'm not going to tell you guys all the details because this is pretty personal to me, but emotionally, at that time, I felt so...horrible. Helpless. Weak. I hated it. I wanted to do something, to walk around, but I couldn't.

Fionna and Cake was one of the only lights of my life at that point, and writing, and telling you guys what I thought of the episodes at the time was my way of expressing myself. I hated having to be snapped back to reality because I knew reality was bleak.

One of the songs that really helped me out, specifically before the operation, was Sunflower by Rex Orange County. That's why the name of this anecdote is Sunflower. I was just listening to it and decided to write this because I like the song and Fionna and Cake and am thankful to have those two anchors, those two distractions, to get me away from my bleak situation (also adding the song Rises the Moon by Liana Flores, it also helped me out). My family also GREATLY helped, taking care of me and making me feel better in those trying times.

So, I know that Adam Muto will never see this, but I just want to thank him for...releasing F&C at such a convenient time, I guess.

Don't worry! I feel better than I've ever felt now, and the medical issue got fixed up with a second, more monitored surgery (cause the hospital sure as hell didn't want a lawsuit, lol).

So, thank you. All of you, whoever of you that have been following me since the beginning, thank you for reading and for listening to my rants. It meant more than you'll ever know and it means a whole lot to me still.

I HAVE BIG PLANS IN THE WORKS, FRIENDS! I may or may not have a TADC book up my sleeve, hehehe.

But anyways, thanks for reading. Have a good night.
