My house wasn't quite far from the school. It was about 3 or 4 blocks away. The house was huge me, Jasmine and Cole had our own bedrooms. I have a huge wardrobe and an on suite bathroom. I had a double bed in the middle of the room with 2 night stands on both sides. The colour scheme was blue-turquoise colour and white. I just fell back onto the double bed and stared at the celling until I noticed the sun shining through the window and there was a little seat. OMG I had a window seat. I could read books there and I could go on my laptop and everything. I opened the wardrobe to see all my clothes hung up and folded and my shoes on the rack, stacked nicely from heels to daps to dolly shoes. I loved the garden, it had swing chairs and a built in pool it was stunning the way the sun shone onto the water. we had a separate dining room and kitchen and living room.
"Jas, Kacey ,Cole" my dad yelled "food is done"
Me, Jasmine and Cole ran down stairs because it had been a long day, unpacking and putting our stuff away.
"You guys are starting school in 2 days" he muttered
"What! Why?" I asked amazed on how fast it took us to settle
"Because your new to the town and you need to join into thee society and become a member of the school and Tracey told the head you'd be in on Monday..." he muttered
Really... We cant even have a week off to get used to moving miles away from everything we know. but high school, where movie dreams are made. I will be the girl from you again. The loner, the person that sits by themselves at lunch. Who sits on the bleachers reading or drawing and walks down the halls with their playlist on repeat on full volume. I was gonna be the new out cast to my squeaky clean peers.
2 days later...
It's 8 am and my dad is knocking on my door repentantly shouting "Get up don't want to be late for school, do you?"
I shouted back " I'm sick..." and then I fake a whimper and coughed
My dad tried getting in but my door was locked. The perks of having lockable doors. You can shut people out when you don't want to be disturbed.
"Come on Kacey, I will drop you off around the corner from the school so I don't 'shame' you?" he introduced
"Okay" I said unconvinced
It's now 9:15 and school started at 9:30 so I thought to myself best get a move on.
My dad beeped from out side signalling that the car was ready so my dad drove Cole to school, then jas to college and me to beacon high. It was now 9:25, I have 5 minutes to go to the office and get my time table and then find my class. Brilliant I'm going to be a late loner...
"Hi name is Kacey Davies" I said nicely
"Your the girl from the uk, do you like it here?" she asked politely
"Yeah its fine, just don't know my way around" I said feeling stupidly
"Well here is you time table, your locker number and your combination, a map of the school and the rooms are labelled so it might be easier and enjoy you sophomore year" she said sheepishly
1st Period- Econ with coach...
I walked into the class to have a deep brown eyes lock onto me.
"and you are?" he asked sarcastically
" I'm new..." I said quickly
"hi 'new' take a seat" he said sarcastically gesturing to the empty seat on the second row 4 sets back.
I sat down to have to boys behind me stare at me strangely and started talking about something... I couldn't make it out until one or them lent forward
