Chapter 13 : Answers we don't want...

It was first period when me and Lydia was sitting bored out of our minds in AP science. I was doodling a flower at the top of my page... I fell sorta normal. Until Mine, Lydia, Scott and kira's phone buzzed from... It was from Peter! He asked us too meet him at Derek's loft ASAP, we all had a free lesson next except for malia; she was still trying to get her grades up from being a coyote for like a half of her life.

We all rushed out of the class room and exited the school in a line...

Calling Peter!

"He isn't answering" stiles cursed

"Okay we will meet up there okay?" Lydia added

"Okay I'll go with Lydia and Isaac; then you guys go together?" I added

"Yeah okay see you there!" Scott added

Me, Lydia and Isaac slid into Lydia's car...

"Why would Peter message all of us he would either message katelyn or Scott?" Isaac muttered

"Do you think it's a trap?" Lydia asked

"Okay we will just have to prepared for anything okay?" I added "Lydia wait in the car until we say it's safe?!"

"no I can take care of myself!" She added " I'm a banshee!" She said with a smirk across her face

We all exited the car slowly; Scott, stiles and kira was already here. We walked pretty fast before slinging the door open to see them all sitting at the table with Peter and Derek

"All clear" I whispered to Lydia as we stepped in to the loft

"we are all here, so what do you want?" Stiles asked sarcastically

"Where's malia?" Peter asked

"School she didn't have a free lesson" stiles snapped getting over it protective

Peter brushed off stiles glare to looking sheepish

"The Mexican hunters has crossed the border! Thanks Scott!" He huffed

"Why exactly is it Scott's fault?" I asked

"Calavera's they told him if he turned someone they would cross the boarder!" Lydia added

"And he turned Liam and you!" Stiles added

"They probably would have come sooner if they knew about you?" Kira informed me

"what if they find out?" I asked

They all stared straight at me and then to Scott and then back to me, their facial expression was unrecognised to me. I'm guessing this is a bad thing...

"Darn it, I would love to stay but..." Before I finished the sentence I was practically sprinting out the door

Derek's lift was a few blocks away from my house but I enjoyed the walk... I was thinking most the time. Scott, Derek, Peter and Isaac knew what it was like to be hunted but the Athens turned good before I was bitten; it wasn't a bad thing but I don't really know how to survive.

I was going to be hunted sooner or later but I need to know how to defend myself as a human so they wouldn't know about my werewolf side...

"I'm home!" I introduced

There was silence. I walked into the kitchen, no one was there, no one was in the living room. I walked upstairs and into my bedroom, I saw a faint shadow sitting on my bed; I pretended that I didn't see it hung my jacket up and grabbed the baseball bat in the corner of my room and as I went to swing it the lamp turned on revealing my best friend from back home

I just screamed and jumped into her arms in excitement...

"Wait you are here, I'm not hallucinating?" I asked surprised

"Your not hallucinating Kate!" She added

"Chloe, how are you here?" I asked

"We asked her to come!" My dad added walking swiftly behind me

I ran and hugged him and hugged my mom standing sluggishly behind him

"How long are you staying?" I questioned

"Actually she's staying here for the rest of the year!" My mom included

"How?" I screeched

"I got into a college not far from here so I asked if I could get used to moving away by starting school with you!" She screeched back

"Where are you staying!" I sung

"In your spare room!" She added

We grabbed hands and bounced around in a circle, skippy and laughing it was amazing

"We are gonna go down stairs, so you two can catch up or something... Okay?" My mom added

We both nodded in agreement. We were talking for hours until my nightly phone call came...

Incoming call - Isaac!

"Lahey!" I answered

"Williams" he added "why did you have to go home so early?"

I was gesturing for Chloe to say hello but she didn't budge

"My friend Chloe is here from back home, she has moved in with us!" I said full of enthusiasm

"Cool, don't forget the new family the Calavera's are moving here!" He suggested trying not to be suspicious

"I know we will talk about it tomorrow, okay?" I insisted

Chloe was giving me the look. The look was asking without saying is he your boyfriend or not.

"Not" I laughed

"Not what?" Isaac questioned down the phone

"Nothing Lahey, just girl talk!" I added "we are going to go now, we will talk tomorrow in school okay... And Chloe will be there!"

We hung up and as I went to change into PJ's Chloe saw my tattoo-

"Omg, your so badass!" She added

"What?" I asked

"Your tattoo!" She explained

"You can't tell anyone in this house okay!" I told her

"Wait it doesn't look new and nobody had noticed it?" She asked

"Not really!" I replied

She just looked at me, I pulled the back of my trousers down a touch so she could see it...

"Did it hurt?" She asked

"Nah, barely noticed it!" I added knowing that it just appeared. I didn't have to go through the excruciating pain. It was sort of a laugh how much pain Scott went through and I didn't even want a tattoo...

"Well I'm gonna go to bed now, I'll wake you up in the morning when I'm up okay?" I spoke

Chloe just nodded and walked away into the darkness of the hallway.
